Update 0.50 - Shoichi (Doubled portrait fix) (Patreon)
Content
Hey, everyone. Sorry for the delay in posting this,
I know it took me an extra 24 hours beyond what I initially said it would take, but while upgrading the sprites so as to make the randomization of casual outfits possible, I may have accidentally broken the entire game... just a little. It took me a lot of hours to get it fixed, but it's working now. I also, at one point, accidentally reverted Keisuke's sprite to back when he had a white shirt under his uniform jacket as well. That one mistake nearly shipped. I only realized it when I was compiling the demo, since that's how tired I am right now.
Regardless, TA's resident good boy has been blessed with the 50th update! A round of cheers for Shoichi!
Jokes aside now, here's the changelog for this update:
- A new day added for Shoichi, merging the A, B and C paths (for now).
- Jun's first CG remade
- New casual outfits added to the game
- Along with the casual outfits, I've implemented a system that basically allows the game to roll a dice at the start of every in-game day for each of the characters that have more than one casual outfit, deciding which one they'll wear for that day. This also meant I had to add exceptions so that characters make sure to stick with the outfits they are wearing on CGs if there are any.
Hotfix (08/06/2021): Fixed the issue that would cause portraits to be doubled when a character speaks more than one line in a row. Ren'py doesn't apply offsets to a portrait if it shows up more than once, making it so that if the character speaking doesn't change between lines, the positioning of the portrait gets messed up. Updated links have been added to the Google Drive folder.
