Happy 2022! (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

Sephra here this time, to first of all in the hope you all had a happy holiday season and a happy new year too! Lets hope this one gets a little better as far as years go; hopefully we can continue to provide some cheer for you all. I'm certainly very thankful I've been given this opportunity to obsess over the stuff I love in this time, and as always I really appreciate it from all of you :)

Game progress has been going well, now that my old code held together with pudding cans and bubble gum has well and truly been upgraded beyond all recognition; no more memory leaks, or bizarre errors and bugs, or any of the general aptitude you may have gotten used to with me at the tech helm now that Vero's around, and luckily I can now blame them for any issues like a true boss! Life is good sometimes!

While she's been getting all of that under the hood stuff together and getting the first level all polished off for release Soon(tm) I've been getting a lot of the assets done for level 2, which I'm sure you'll be shocked to know is a sewer level. I know, and if I even tried to make a joke about it the joke itself would seem tired, but I set myself a challenge to make a sewer level look visually interesting and be fun and dang it I intend to continue; and besides, hopefully the enemies will be the star of the show, so to speak!

Hopefully that little taster whets your whistle a bit! needless to say, I've been having a lot of fun continuing to build the world up (what was NOT enjoyable was this page crashing 3 times while trying to write!)

Anyway, I'm rambling as usual so I'll sign off; thank you all again from the bottom of my heart for continuing to contribute to our little project and my bizarre scribblings, we will keep repaying the favor as best we can :)
