Hello everyone! Vero here!

Since it's been a good while, I wanted to compile some of the things we've been working on! Sephra and Sprrigs have been working mostly on art, and Sprrigs will be doing the dialogue (making characters talk lewds), and during my free time, I've been coding as much as possible, and that's what I wanted to focus on, what we have in so far, what's missing, what needs to be done still! Before we start, no, I can’t release the game in this state this Sunday, especially since more people voted on delaying it a little further to get a better experience in the end. But for now!

Let's start with Gameplay!

As it stands right now, Amber is almost fully implemented! This means that she can move around, jump around, fight with a fist or kick attack, with the fist attack having a 3-hit combo if you use it rapidly, dodge backwards when needed, and of course…

…get corrupted / infected!

The new lust system is still in early stage, but the idea is simple. We have the good old Health and Stamina bars, but we also have two new bars in the game. One is the lust bar; this will increase every time Amber is… “enjoying herself” and will work like before, it gets filled, Amber had an orgasm. However! Now we also have a 4th bar, this is the corruption / infection bar! This very slowly and gradually increases if: Amber is in a lewd situation, Amber is standing in an infected / gas area, and it will drastically increase as soon as someone finishes inside Amber. This 4th bar serves two purposes. One, the more corrupted Amber gets, the harder it will be to escape an enemy’s grasp, and once the bar fills up, it’s game over, as Amber can no longer resist anything and will even seek out nearby NPCs to have fun with (If I can implement it in time ^^; ((Maybe in a later update))).

Now, the NPCs!

I’m trying to make a nice base that can fit on all of them, which then can also be easily modified to fit the unique characteristics of each! This means that having a parent, “generic” NPC template we can use, and tune it just right so that each feel different. Right now, they can walk around, stand around, “patrol” an area, see the player, try to run towards them and once close enough, lewd them, but they don’t fight. Yet. That’s the very next thing on my list right now.

The lewds!

I decided to slightly modify how the struggle icon worked / appeared, and furthermore, the camera will now zoom in on the action when Amber is getting it. If people don’t like this, I’ll be more than happy to add an option to turn this off later! The lewds will still need to be tuned here and there, but we’re getting to a point where I’m very happy with what we have!

The save system!

…is something I still haven’t really implemented. Mainly because I need to find a balance between performance and ease of use from a programming perspective. I don’t want to implement a new save system every time we add a small change to the game, it needs to be as generic as possible, and that required a bit more work unfortunately, but I’ll be done with it by the time we get the new patch out!

The maps!

They’re pretty much done thanks to the amazing work of Sprrigs, we just need to add story triggers and cutscenes and such, then it’ll be pretty much done.

I don’t want to say an estimated date, because I know we won’t meet it, but I will say, we WANT to get the game out before Christmas! And hopefully that will happen! Excellent! Nevertheless, despite the fact that you have not yet completed everything, however, it is clear that a lot has been done and I really like the idea with the NPC.
