WEEKEND UPDATE #4 Getting closer to the full demo being done! ------------------------------ Triangulate has been: -Doing even yet more background tiles (we're at over 75 tiles implemented now I believe, 80 x 80 each), but he should be fully done with the foreground tiles now. -Doing some foreground props, but these will mostly be for after the demo. -Finished the save pad's new version and databank's new version -He's mostly done with his side of things, pretty much. -Still working on boss designs for after the demo too! ------------------------------ Cheshire has been: -Pretty much doing the most work, as he furiously codes in extra stuff; at this point though, the only things we're missing are; --AI for one or so enemies left --SFX implementation for environmental sounds --Databank/text implementation --Various odds and ends -Otherwise, the editor is 95% done, so yeah! -He also added moving platforms and visual filters that are toggle-able, so that's pretty awesome too! ------------------------------ I've been: -Working on Databank text and maps; I'm going to be working on them for pretty much the next 2-3 days straight, hoping to knock them all out in one go. -I'm also working on a video for those of you who've missed the streams, that'll show off the editor and general gameplay, this will be SFW and will be posted on the Patreon title page. -I'll be working on a second video as well that shows off the sex scenes (not all of them for the demo, just a few) so you can see how it looks with sound, the game environment around, etc. ------------------------------ Again, let me reiterate; future levels shouldn't take us this long (we're estimating 45-60 days per level completion), what's taken us this long so far is basically building a REALLY solid foundation for the game (exact layouts of what tiles we'll need in what designs, the gameplay editor itself to make maps, code/function for databanks, enemy AI, physics, so forth). For future levels, it'll just be a process of a bit of extra code for each elemental ability on Cheshire's end, and then the new art on Triangulate's end (but now he'll have an exact layout of what tiles he needs and where, as we've done a LOT of experimenting on what looks best/flows best), and then the writing on my end, etc. Thanks again for being so patient, everyone :) We're basically aiming to have this demo out to you as soon as April 4th, but no later than April 10th, period!

Just learned you (at least one of you) made the trailer for Malise and the Machine. Patronage earned! I look forward to seeing the full demo for this game, it looks like it's going to be amazing. (And again, great work on the Malise and the Machine trailer. You earned yourself a patron.)
