GOOD NEWS FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DIDN'T WANT/COULDN'T GET THE GAME ON STEAM; We've decided to release it on Itch.io at launch, too. Now granted, there's two caveats to this; - The game itself will have achievements built-in regardless of platform, but it'll only get Steam Achievements, on Steam, of course - Steam copies of the game will automatically update themselves on your computer whenever we do bugfixes or add in extra content, but if you get it on Itch, you'll need to manually look to see if there's been an update, and then download the update yourself We've updated the original form to reflect this change, and for those of you who already filled it out and selected "Steam" or "other platform" or "send it to me directly", here's a new form you can fill out. https://forms.gle/dMexUGMGDLkKFNus5

Recently we made the choice to release this particular demo we've been working on to everyone who's EVER pledged to this game, even if they aren't currently pledging; future demos are still $5, but we wanted to do something neat this time around. However, if you did get a "reward questionnaire" from me before and you answered with what name you wanted in the background, you're good to go (unless you wanted to change your name, which there's still time to do so if so!) ------------------- And if you haven't backed at the $10 tier before, to be clear on what you'd get; There's a specific, major plot point in the game where your name would be connected to it and visible in the background of a level as part of that major plot point. If you're getting this message, at one point, you pledged at the $5 tier for our game, Future Fragments. The reason I'm sending you this message is because we're wrapping up development, and we need to confirm all of the $5 "name in the credits" reward names by April 1st (no, it's not an April Fools joke). On our end, we've got a database setup that has the information people who've replied to the questionnaire we send out for the $5 reward tier... ...but unfortunately, for mass messages on Patreon, it's indiscriminate with who's getting messaged. ***So if you backed us for $5 at any point, AND you got an email from us asking what name you wanted in the $5 credits, AND you gave us a name and we confirmed it was in, then you have no need to reply to this message; you're all good!*** (Or if you rejected the reward, but emailed us to say so) However, if you DIDN'T get a $5 credits email from us asking what name you'd like in the credits, please reply to this message. Currently, there are over 5,000+ people who have NOT replied to the reward, so it's highly likely that most of you getting this haven't replied to it. **IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING REWARD TIERS** If you're getting this message, you at one time backed us for our game, Future Fragments. The release of the game is finally, FINALLY coming up in Summer 2022, provided nothing crazy happens ( you can read more about that over at https://rentry.co/summer2022 ), but that's only part of why I'm messaging you today. Back around November 2021 and again in March 2022, we closed off the $10 "Name in Background" and $5 "Name in Credits" tier rewards respectively, to new people wanting that reward. We did this because we thought the game was coming out soon, and we wanted time to prepare the credits for the game as well as check people's names for any issues that would prevent us from putting them in the game. However, as we've now moved the release date to sometime before Summer 2022 ends, we felt we should re-open those rewards retroactively. -------------------- ***MAIN POINT OF THE MESSAGE HERE*** From now until June 30th, 2022, we've re-opened the rewards for the $5 and $10 tiers if you'd like to get your name in the credits or in the background. If you've ever pledged once at the $5 or $10 tiers, and you haven't gotten an email from me about getting your name in the credits/background respectively, then reply to this DM and let me know. I'll then message you back and send you an email (or forward you the one I sent you in the past that you might have had go into your spam mail) asking what name you want in the credits, so we can have it down in our own records, as messages from Patreon are a lot easier to lose than ones in our email. Additionally, this of course means if you HAVEN'T ever backed us at the $5 or $10 tiers, June 30th, 2022 would be the last date to do so to get those rewards, for real this time. -------------------- **EXTRA NOTE** Some of you getting this have already had your name entered into the $10 and/or $5 tiers through emails we've sent you, so this entire message is irrelevant to you.
