Lying together on the soft grass, Eva and Gage both gazed up at the vast, star-filled sky. The candles around them were dying one after another, each light quietly succumbing to the night. But they remained right there in each other’s arms, cocooned in the warmth of their embrace, content in the silence and the beauty of the moment.

"Thank you for tonight, Gage… for this…" Eva uttered, her eyes shimmering as she lifted her hand, the gemstone gleaming in the dark. "For everything…"

Turning her gaze towards him, she continued. "Thank you for coming back to me… to us…"

Gage tightened his hold, pulling her closer, his lips finding her forehead in a tender kiss. "And thank you for waiting for me, darling. Words cannot begin to describe how much I’m… happy right now."

Feeling his heartfelt words, Eva tightened her embrace, her own happiness echoing his. "Me too… I’m so… so happy…"

"I will do everything to… keep this happiness last forever, Eva. I promise." Gage's voice was firm, filled with a promise as timeless as the stars above them.

Eva gently pulled back, her eyes locking with Gage's. With a nod full of conviction, she whispered, "I believe in you, Gage." Her hand tenderly caressed his face. "Don't worry… everything will be alright. From now on, we'll be together… forever." Her smile was radiant, her eyes alight with hope.

Gage returned her smile with equal warmth. "Yes… forever…" he affirmed, and in that perfect moment, they sealed their vows with a kiss, under the expansive, starry night sky.

Bride-like, Gage carried Eva until they reached the bathroom.

He gently placed her down and then without a word, he removed his shirt.

The dim light of the bathroom caressed his skin, casting shadows that played across the contours of his taught muscles. Just watching this man undressing himself was truly a sight to behold… a sight she just knew she would never ever get tired of!

Unexpectedly, the male god before her stopped after his tops were gone. She had honestly thought he was going to take off everything before her. Did he want her to continue? She wouldn’t mind at all though.

But then, just when she was about to move to take off the rest of his clothes, Gage reached out and began to undress her. He was deliberate, tender, as if he loved what he was doing. As if he was savoring every little act of this task.

Once she was fully naked, Eva was a little surprised when Gage did not lead her down the path she had been anticipating. Instead of bending to kiss her, he bent and lifted her with ease once again, and then placed her gently into the tub.

Eva bit her lip to hide her smile as the warm water welcomed her.

“Lie down, darling, I'll wash your hair," Gage said and Eva did as he said.

“You're tired from work. So just relax and let me pamper you…" he added and she closed her eyes, a smile playing on her lips as Gage began to gently massage shampoo into her hair.

He also began to tell her everything that happened while she’s in her work. He told her about their cooking moments with Gaia, until he sent and picked her up from school. The rhythmic motions of his fingers were soothing, and as he shared her about their lunch escapade, especially about the French fries, laughter and warmth filled the room, drawing her deeper into a state of blissful contentment.

When she was done, Eva immediately offered to wash Gage’s hair too. But he declined, smiling.

"I already took a bath, darling. And tonight… I'm set to do nothing but pamper you," Gage said and Eva could only bite her lip, happy beyond measure.

Gage patted Eva’s hair dry with such tenderness that Eva felt cherished down to her very soul. He then proceeded to dry her hair, the blow dryer's warm air whispering through the strands as he worked with methodical gentleness.

Eva watched him through the mirror, her heart swelling with love. The reflection she was admiring captured more than just the physical act of him combing her hair; it mirrored something more… so much more….

And it appeared that her incredibly thoughtful husband, had yet another surprise up his sleeve. "Would you want a massage?" he offered.

"You know how to do massage too?!"

He responded with a confident smirk. "Your hubby is a fast learner," he boasted, the glint in his eyes betraying his eagerness to please her in every way possible.

"What a devil," Eva remarked, half-teasing, half-admiring the man before her.

Gage's laughter filled the room, a sound that warmed Eva's heart. Then, in a smooth motion, he scooped her up in his arms once again, ready to continue their evening of pampering.

“But Gage… it's already late… you've done a lot the whole day too. So if you’re tired—"

"Thanks for the concern, darling, but consider these the perks of having a devil of a husband."
