BTC has reclaimed its position as my largest pure form crypto holding (it was SOL a few days ago), BTC spiking to $47K helped.  My MSTR is still larger than BTC.

It's worth mentioning that my SOL and SOLALT portfolio combined is bigger than BTC

In response to our collectively growing wealth - I have a gnawing basket of questions ; At what point does an individual begin to consider custodial services ? I am assuming these services are both insured and only entertaining million dollar min commitments of Digital Assets ? - Are individuals really managing 7 figure plus $ portfolios on their own ? If so are they using the same cold storage solutions as us ? ( Trazor , Ledger et.al.). Is their any consensus on how much ( in value ) one device should access ? ~Seems like a high ( technology ) barrier to entry for the Digital asset space, considering the demographic of the average Home Office will likely be Genx or older . As the bull run progresses - security and custody should increasingly occupy our attention. I am personally going over my security constantly with the mindset that the current value could easily double or triple rather quickly in the coming year . Being that much of this is evolving and reliable resources on the topic are scarce - I am nervous that I’ve missed something or have flaws I am blind to . Thanks Again !

Very good questions. I decided not to self custody. Seed Phrase on Paper seems like a thing of the past. For me it is not a suitable solution. I don't like my Ledger device. I tried it but do not trust it either. I also don't trust myself enough. I am on different Swiss Exchanges to spread the risk and go for Bitcoin Proxies (MSTR). I even consider to buy the ETF. Apparently only a very small number of people use cold storage. I assume that people just don't like it and don't want to hide a piece of paper at home for a good reason.

Thank you James for sharing this. That helps a lot to rebalance my BTC heavy Portfolio. I feel comfortable with SOL and I have conviction in it since you started to talk about it (some years ago...) : )
