Cool, can you share the tradingview.com graph for this? I'd try and recreate as an exercise.

Hi Peter - Just pull up the "Indicators" and search for RELATIVE STRENGTH INDEX - choose 10 as the length and make sure chart is on hourly or 4 hourly.

Would this work for crypto too or is there too much volatility? If not, what other indicators can we use for similar signals in crypto?

Pete - true TA for Crypto does not work so well as it is driven by exogenous variables that cannot be predicted eg a pool selling a bunch of Bitcoin or Elon Musk tweeting. However, monitoring charts can show you when sell pressure and buy pressure is there or waning - I use it to time BTC buys.

Great! This is so clear and just what I needed. I’m looking forward to more TA. Thanks!

More to come. Bite-size pieces I think is best.

Hi IA. Doing this analysis on CRSP the RSI dipped below 30 a few days ago, and the price has hardly moved. So, presumably this would still be a buying opportunity?

I've been using a similar strategy except I use %R instead of RSI which is basically the same thing. I sell puts and occasionally buy calls on a list of stocks I like. Works really well in the current environment.

Hey Vinny, I get RSI at approx 57 using 1 hour candles. What time candles are you using in your analysis?

Anonymous

Awesome! I am hoping that there will be a recording in case unable to attend the live session.

I love this stuff!

So why RSI 10 and not RSI 14 which seems to be the default everywhere? Just curious.

Did you make a video where you explain this more in-depth, or is it just this image?

Hey just joined today, it's a lot of info and work to get done for one person. I only wish that you don't get burned out. Teaching TA and making market research is not that easy. Thank you for the cool stuff really appreciated.
