What are the advantages of purchasing through Grayscale versus buying raw? I have raw BTC, does it make sense to pay the premium?

A big advantage that I see in his trade is he is using a 401K account as an investment vehicle so he benefits from all of the tax advantages from that. With raw bitcoin you cannot buy that from a retirement account.

I saw that the premium had dropped way down with GBTC and I should have bought the dip under $30. My DCA on GBTC is $34 so I feel like I should have taken advantage of that. Gotta take advantage of the volatility!

Dr Watson, well said and yes you nailed it. I believe GBTC even with its premium is a better investment than a mutual fund - esp when we are close to the top of the mkt.

Looking to get some btc exposure into my ISA (Uk no tax to pay on the way out account) , I think only options are gbtc, micro strategy’s, PayPal or square , what would be the best approach just pick one or a combo of these . My current provider does not have gbtc, I’d needs to open account elsewhere which happy to do if it’s the best strategy.

Hi I have an ISA account with 212, I’ve started with microstrategy and Argoblockchain. I’ve looked at the Bitcoin treasuries website which shows all companies and thier holdings.

I am very bullish on MSTR and SQ but own all. I am in SQ very early ($40's). I have PayPal as it is a solid crypto payments play. I would open up an account and get some direct exposure to owning some BTC. I heard great things about eToro as an onramp.

I'm considering putting a significant portion of my UK pension fund into Microstrategy as a bitcoin play, about 100K. Question is Should I in fact diversify into MSTR, SQ and paypal or fucus in MSTR as they hold the most raw BTC.

I have a fair amount of GBTC in my 401k and am now looking to buy some ETHE. Any thoughts on timing a buy?.

The last time I bought Ethereum was 11 January where I was very happy to get some in the mid 900s. I don't know if you'll see that level again. If I was desperate to get something over the next two weeks my entry point would look something like a limit order at $1216 and hope for a big downward wick.

This is exactly what I am debating on the face of it, mstr looks like the obvious option, what about galaxy digital invest? It’s no 2 on the Bitcoin treasuries list

Thanks! I have been using Coinbase Pro for crypto trades. Do you have any recommendations for crypto exchanges to use to buy BTC or Ethereum?

I just moved some money around to get my self a good amount of GBTC. Do you still have the spreadsheet available that calculates the amount to BTC I have compared to how many GBTC shares I have?
