Howdy folks,

We're hard at work, cutting it close for the 1936 Spinach Skrewtny, but it is recorded! Bob has some exciting opportunities, and I've got lots of restoration projects coming through. (Once in a while it's animation related; see above image for a hint.)

As you saw in our last post, the regular show will be monthly now, but fear not, we've got some great stuff in the pipeline! Order is subject to change....

Art Davis (Two Gophers from Texas) Van Beuren (The Magic Mummy) — with special NYC guest historian Charlie Judkins Sylvester: WB's Utility Player Paul Terry and Terrytoons (Dingbat Land) — with special guest Charlie Judkins

We're especially excited to have Charlie on board as we divulge tidbits he and I have uncovered during our research for our eventual NYC animation history book. (Charlie is also a talented ragtime pianist who did our original music for the show.)

I'm wondering, would you Patrons like to get the regular episodes a little early? I'm likely going to space them out a bit on the regular Libsyn feed, but I can have it up for Patrons as soon as Bob signs off on my edit. Your call.

Later...

Can't wait to hear your takes on Dingbat Land--I've loved that cartoon for years!

Woody’s 3D cartoon getting fixed up? A NEW SPECIAL GUEST? AN ART DAVIS EPISODE?!?!?!?!? This is the best post I’ve seen yet! Yes PLEASE on the early access! The sooner I can hear you guys talk about Emery Hawkins’ finest cartoon at Warners, the better! Additionally, what software do you use to edit your podcasts?

I'm on board for the early access by all means, I'm looking forward to hearing Charlie Judkins sit in on the Terry episode... he absolutely shreds on the piano

An episode about Virgil Ross would be awesome.

I'd be all for releasing regular episodes early on here! I'm also excited to hear your guys' thoughts on Art Davis and Sylvester!

It’s interesting that you bring up potentially offering early access. I’ve seen at least 3 or 4 other Patreons offering similar, which is fine for them I’d assume, but considering how hard you and Bob are working on this in addition to your other projects, I’m fine with getting the shows at same time as the general public.

I usually listen to them through a podcast app (except the exclusive stuff, obviously). I’m fine with however you want to release them.

Thanks for those posts, guys, so, can’t wait for the Dingbat Episode with Charlie!
