I thought I'd tackle a Famous Popeye myself, this one from the first of the phenomenal Warner Archive discs. While amusing and nothing more, Moving Aweigh does have quite a bit of interesting history behind it, like why it has no director credit. Listen and find out why!

Wow. You're on a roll today with all the content. And yes, I always wondered how Shorty even survived attempting suicide in his debut cartoon. That's cartoon logic for ya, I guess. Anyway, tons of solid animation in this one. Really easy to see with how great of a job they did with the restoration and all. I need to get a Blu Ray player that can connect to my laptop soon.
