Eternals next? (Patreon)

Hi guys! As Eternals recently released on disney plus I thought it might be an idea to watch it next and then go back to normal order as some of you guys might be wanting to rewatch it again. 

Let me know your thoughts on this and I am pretty sure to watch Eternals I don't need to watch any more films?

It doesn't matter cause of order but if you wanna stick to release you can do that also it doesn't spoil anything

I’d say watch it! The order doesn’t matter in this case, and I’m impatient and don’t want to wait! Excited for Shang Chi as well.

Normal order, but I would really recommend that you go back and watch Incredible Hulk before Shang-Chi (As you skipped that movie the first time around). It's not super important, but it will provide context for one thing and you'll probably get a laugh out of it. At the very least watch it before you get to What If?, as it actually is pretty important for an episode of that. It's also just really good and is the most comic accurate representation of the Hulk in the MCU. I would also really, really recommend watching at least the first season of Daredevil before Hawkeye and No Way Home. The plot elements aren't relevant so it's not necessary to watch all of it (Though Daredevil Season 3 is a masterclass drama and quite possibly the best thing in the entire MCU, yes it's THAT good), but it does provide background on some characters and even Hawkeye goes out of its way to have certain visual and musical elements from that show return (Which is essentially confirmation that the show is still canon in the MCU contrary to what certain people online like to say).

I HAVE been itching to rewatch it for the fourth time so 🙄 it’s nice that there’s the possibility for that to be sooner rather than later haha know that it literally wouldn’t spoil anything for you 🙌🏼 I honestly don’t mind if you continue with release order or just watch Eternals now, but I DID vote to watch it next anyway, as I thought it’d be the least popular opinion 😂 can’t wait to hear YOUR thoughts on it 🥳

I’ve only watched it once and I don’t think there’s anything in there that would be a spoiler. A few mentions of the events of Endgame but that’s about it. Will be fun to watch it again with you

yes! especially with She Hulk coming around the corner and you don’t even KNOW how badly I want him to watch Daredevil as it’s my favorite Marvel project ;-; wait, you probably do haha

I think as long as you watch Black Widow before Hawkeye, the watch order for the three Phase 4 movies currently on D+ doesn't matter that much. And echoing what others have said, wouldn't mind if you could squeeze in Daredevil S1 somewhere before Hawkeye!

i think you should watch it release order so watch black widow then shang chi and then eternals!

Yes! It's pretty disconnected from the other movies (something some people complained about) so it's safe to watch it, and imo it's better than everything between Wandavision and No Way Home

I think in order to really appreciate everything that the marvel cinematic universe does you need to watch it in order.

Since Black Widow largely takes place between Civil War & Infinity War you could do Eternals next. Tho ya should watch BW before Hawkeye.

I really liked the mythology that Eternals give us about the MCU. There is no problem to you watching it now because you already watched Endgame.

I personally don’t mind either way, I don’t think it will disrupt your viewing experience with the other movies/shows. I figure you want to strike while the clicks are hot for Eternals 😄

I’m a fan of watching it in order… but def won’t be a problem if you watch this next. It’s pretty awesome and if you really want to see it I say do it.

Just saw eternals and it was way better than I had originally thought. They allude to the main events of the other movies a couple of times, but overall it kind of felt like its own thing. You'll be good either way, but I could see trying to get the Eternals watched right now since for many they are just now seeing it on Disney+

You don't miss out on anything from Eternals by not watching any of the stuff you haven't watched yet. And it having released recently may help your reaction get more attention. I hope you take the poll and comments as opinions to help you decide, rather than something you have to follow.

I agree I think he should capitalize on the views being hot rn. I mean all he has before Eternals is Shang-Chi, right? Not counting What if... he can skip that and leave it for after Eternals.

Eternals was such a refreshing movie compared to most MCU films ngl. You CAN watch this film out of order, it won’t ruin anything. Solely recommend to watch it since there’s more hype for a reaction right now but do whatever you want Seb ☺️

You could watch Eternals out of order, but you should do whatever you feel like doing. I really loved it!

You can watch Black Widow, Shang-Chi, and Eternals in any order, but I personally prefer watching in release order. The only thing I'd say you have to watch in order is Black Widow before Hawkeye. But outside of that, it's up to you! I think you'll enjoy them either way.

while you could do eternals now i'd suggest sticking to release order, it's the simplest and best way to catch up and as it was ment to be seen...

I’d stick with release order for the MCU. Black Widow, Shang-Chi, Eternals, then Hawkeye. What-If is fun but not as necessary. If you do watch Eternals before the others it’s fine, but make sure to watch Black Widow before Hawkeye like others have mentioned.

I just watched it and won't be doing a rewatch anytime soon. Not my favorite Marvel offering thus far.

Black Widow, Shang Chi and Eternals have no crossover elements (that we are aware of) yet so it probably wouldn't matter which of the three you see first. It is important that you watch Black Widow before Hawkeye though. I know a lot of people hate Eternals, but it's personally my favorite MCU movie of 2021.
