It's been a funky time of late. I'm still dealing with some minor tendonitis. I'm doing much better than I was when it was at its worst, thanks to a doctor-recommended tennis elbow strap, but still not 100 percent. I've been dealing with this since early March, so it's taking its time to heal, and I'm not letting it slow me down too much. A new delay cropped up however when, after serving for years, my primary computer chair snapped in half, so suddenly I'm hopping on Amazon to  buy a replacement. I have this bad habit of shifting around in my chair, which wears down the metal or welding  where the seat connects to the base over time. I decided to splurge on a more heavy-duty chair this time, as opposed to the cheap crap office chairs I usually get, so hopefully the new one will last a long time ... once it actually arrives.

Good luck, dude. This year has been weird for all of us. 😅

Life is just an endless run of replacing things that break. Including us, sometimes.

Been there, done that... Hope the replacement is a bit more durable...

I hope the tendonitis goes away soon. I'm a big dude and I got tired of breaking cheap office chairs, so I paid $350 for a "big and tall" reinforced office chair, and it was totally worth it! It's overbuilt, with a wide and thick seat cushion, so it's fairly comfortable. I've had it for years and years.

Same thing happened to a chair I got while living with my parents, then had through college, then suddenly fell apart a few years later. Scary when it suddenly dropped with me in it, but I was happy it lasted so long. Also an excuse to get a chair that was better for my back.

that sucks man, hope you start to feel better and hopefully the chair is worth what you paid for it.

best to recover and do a little exercise for a few months before you get back into drawing. maybe you can make a comic next year featuring tina lynx and darke katt and call it "midnight cats" or "when the cats away".
