I originally intended to publish a sort-of half-sized release by the end of January, but then towards the start of the month, I decided to try and do something I have been meaning to do for years.  A while ago, Wishberri and I mocked up a vision for what the GUI of TQ could look like, if we put a lot of effort into making it happen.

See the attached images for what we intend it to look like.

Well, there is no time like the present, I thought. So that's what I've been trying to get done in January.

And oh god is it painful. I wish I'd done this years ago, before I added so many weird and wonderful special cases to the game, like the orc poker minigame, all the extra credit zone stuff that uses the map window, and so on. But anyway. I'm hoping to make something that kind of looks like these images, and isn't crazy laggy. But it's painful, and slow, and I haven't finished it yet. But yeah, that's my main goal for February. To finish the new GUI to the point where it at least is functional, even if it doesn't look quite as pretty as the mockups yet. Wish me luck.

Looks pretty great. Seems like it would be a lot of work, so understandable that it might take a bit.

If possible, I'd say make UI color customization a possibility. Neon pink on dark grey is hard on the eyes. The UI concept itself looks very nice, though. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
