A video I decided not to post (Patreon)

Last week, I had a rare flash of inspiration and filmed an entire video in an afternoon. It was about face masks, and people who refuse to wear them even though they are mandatory here in California.

I’m a fan of face masks. First of all, it’s a really easy way of slowing the spread of COVID-19. And as a bonus, putting on a face mask instantly bumps me up from a 6 to a respectable 7.

So I filmed this video about making a face mask slingshot. I edited it best I could, started roping in sponsors, sent it to my team for feedback, sent it to my friends for feedback, sent it to my mom for feedback, edited some more, and then pulled the plug on it all and decided that it wasn’t good enough.

I don't know. It's just not a terribly interesting or funny video, but most of all it breaks rule number one in the How To Stay Sane On The Internet And Not Attract Trolls Handbook: 

Don't be too righteous. 

Not being a feminist socialist vegan-ish female YouTuber in a male-dominated field would probably help too, but I'm not really willing to compromise on those things.
