As far as I know, most of the growing artists dislikes their older pictures. Same thing with me: out of all pictures, that I drew before 2020, only 5 I still like and they up to my today standarts. Probably 5-10 more is good or good enough. And out of second group there are 2 pictures that I like, but they have glaring flaws that stoping me from fully engoying them. So I decided to "quickly" fix this flaws

This is the first one out of two.

So, Royal Meeting, my 5 years old picture.  I like composition of it, overall colors and idea. Girls ended up looking great and I did pretty good job back then to imitate Disney 3d art-style. However I turned Rapunzel body for like 120 degree to show both her ass and chest, which is looks pretty unrealistic, Anna have weirdly large chest area, and my faces back then were hits and misses. Rapunzels were a miss, and others can be updated too.

Original plan for this one were simple: fix Rapunzel anatomy, fix Anna chest and fix all 3 heads. In and out, twenty minutes adventure. ...But fixing Rapunzel broken spine ended up not as easy as I thought, I managed to find a amost believable angle, but it took some time. Anna's chest changes pushed me to fix her bottom half too. And fixing heads... went exactly as planned, no wastes of time in this part =)

Took me longer then expected but I think the end result is worth it.

I gonna fix one more picture from same year now, this one have only one problem, I need to fix a... check notes... just a whole body for one out of two characters. Sounds simple, should take less time, if I not get carried away again.

It's impressive how your style has changed and improved. The older piece does capture the 3D style pretty well, but the adjustments made are stellar. I look forward to seeing what the next Redo is.

It's such a fun piece and really neat to see it "punched up" and made even better here with the benefit of extra years of experience! :D

I always say the biggest critic of an artist is themself. Sometimes it does end up with a nice 'tidy up' of older pieces though!

It's hard to improve when there are no competetent person that can point on your mistakes or when you himself don't look at your old pictures (sometimes even a month old) and see what you did wrong.

Second of Many

It really is cool seeing you update the picture! Rapunzel especially does look so much better. Love seeing such a fun composition improved like this

This was always one of my favourite works of yours, it looks better than ever now. I hope you'll breathe more life back into the great stuff you did in your older works too sometime
