Got a few doodles in today after some much needed sleep.

I mentioned it a bit earlier on Twitter but this week was pretty rough at my day job.

What I'll mention here is, I've been doing so well and staying over enough that I've been offered an MIT(Manager-In-Training) position at over four times my annual wage. That's like home buying money. That is crazy job security, imo.

I'm not sure if I want to take it though, for like three reasons.

One, I'm already tired enough, I can't imagine how exhausted I'd be in a managerial position.

Two, I don't really like the idea of being in charge of a location I was planning to move away from. Transfers are an option but we'd have to be here for a year at least.

Three, and the biggest reason, I would without a doubt have to close up shop here and maybe entirely. I just wouldn't have time for anything else other than that job and sleep.

I could be completely debt free in like seven months at that job, I could pay off my wife's school loans. It's a great opportunity financially... But that's about it. As crazy as that sounds, I imagine most people would jump at the chance given how crappy the job market has been. I'd have to give up a year of my life minimum to achieve a "soft reset" on life. I don't know, I still have to mull it over. They said I have a bit of time to consider, but would like an actual answer before Christmas.
