SHOWER SCENE OVER, MOVING ON. It's getting dark early over here already now, and we're completely dreading the return of daylight savings. Pitch black by 5:00 PM suuuuucks shit.

Also just sorta been like... observing everything going on with Twitter. It's weird that it really does feel like its days are over. Like, half the crew being fired, advertisers pulling out, the confusion on its new stupid monthly subscription. On the one hand, I've been wanting out of Twitter for a while. I don't know how much having a Twitter has helped us, if at all. But there's still an obligation to be there seeing as everyone else is there, and I kind of hated having to maintain this presence. At the same time, the damage is going to be catastrophic to people reliant on the site. I really hope some of the smaller sites like Cohost or Pillowfort end up taking off so that artists and creators still have ways to share their works without having to make a dedicated site. That and I'll always vouch for Newgrounds as an artist platform. But even if I hate Twitter, the internet's going to be a bit quieter without it, for better and for worse.

See you on Monday!

THE END OF THE SHOWER ERA

Heh, Dakota wantin' to show off 😏 Excited to see where it all goes next!

While I'd love to see it go (I feel like if you did a study of people who used Twitter once a day and people who didn't, you'd see a visible decline in mental health in the party that interacted with it once a day), I don't know if it will. Granted the idiot in charge has more money than sense it seems, but I'll be shocked if it all goes up in flames. That aside, I feel an impending sense of dread for what's to come next in the story.

They're so cute I'm gonna fuckin cry

Twitter has always been a load of blowhards shouting into the void. Newspapers picking up tweets made it seem more important than it was, nobody I know ever used twitter to follow anyone, it's a platform of creators without an audience.
