Writer’s block CONQUERED. Finally got some more stuff written on my Slipshine projects. Good stuff, too! Though I think I’m gonna need a new desk chair soon. My SecretLab chair is starting to tear apart real bad and my back is getting increasingly stiff. Whatever lumbar support was there seems to be gone now. Ah well. It was a good chair for when I was holding our little chihuahua Bruce all the time, but it seems like its time has finally passed. Might be time to get away from the GAMER chairs and go for a genuine office chair. If you got any recommendations, let me know!

Joys of desk chair shopping. Mine has started going where the gas lift meets the base, I don't know where the fault is to repair. Plus the pleather has started going on it. They don't last much. Recommendations depend on budget. There's some real quality ones there but cost upwards of $1000. Not sure how worth it those from Herman Miller, etc are. Lizzie looks like she's found a new appreciation for being jerked over 😄

You might look into second hand Herman Miller Aeron chairs. They’re pricey new, but you can sometimes find them for a few hundred from corporate office liquidation sales (at least where I live), since they’re so popular in offices.

Counterpoint: Get another gaming chair. I don’t have much experience in office chairs, so I’ll defer to someone else for that, but gaming chairs are meant for long term use. We sit at the desk for pretty long gaming sessions, so we pride ourselves in getting some comfy chairs. That said, if office chairs are cheaper than gaming chairs, then that’s fair enough. Again, I’ll defer to someone with experience in office chairs.
