Thank you all so much for not minding us taking a day off for E3. Holy shit, did we need it...Especially since Leslie's computer seemingly almost died on us, which would have forced us to take a day off anyways (don't worry, it's fixed! Just had to take out/reinsert her graphics card). But E3...jesus, what a rollercoaster.

Okay, granted, a lot of it was kind of boring. It's pretty obvious most everyone is saving their big stuff for next-gen, which just isn't ready yet. Microsoft didn't really have much in terms of exclusives, Bethesda just had Doom and Ghostwire which looks great, Ubisoft had like, nothing and ended abruptly (sorry, I'm not believing any of Watch Dogs 3 works as advertised, plus I just hate the gunplay in those games). But Square-Enix, bless Square-Enix. Not only does FFVII Remake look fantastic, but they dropped the biggest fucking plot bomb for FFXIV: Shadowbringers that left me and Leslie just wracking our brains digging through FFXIV lore. And Nintendo? Jesus Christ, what a rollercoaster. New No More Heroes, Panzer Dragoon Remake, NEW ANIMAL CROSSING, BREATH OF THE WILD SEQUEL, OH MY GOD BANJO-KAZOOIE'S IN SMASH. You guys, as soon as I saw that jiggy piece, I fell off the couch clutching my chest trying to breath. I fucking cried. It was embarrassing. I inhaled and nearly suffocated on the tissue I was trying to dry my eyes with. That trailer was just beautiful. It's everything I ever wanted. I love Banjo-Kazooie and I just love Rare's characters and style and that trailer was a loveletter to it. Smash Ultimate is a perfect game. It is a game I will play for the rest of time and never get sick of. God, I'm so happy. I love you guys. I love Leslie. I love Nintendo.

See you on Friday!
