Changelist:

  • Added new Full Act: Little Biter (MxF)
  • Added 8 new Skins
  • Added Prey specific color palettes (212 color combinations vs 30 we had)
  • Added Prey specific rare color palette (136 color combinations)
  • Rewrote the way Full Acts are handled: Now the second last loop needs input to pass, instead of having a timer (effectively makes the second last loop watchable, and pressing space to progress makes it speed up and progress normally)
  • Added small eye parallaxing effect to add little bit more depth to the eyes
  • Reduced size of bullet collider due to improved aiming requiring less helpers
  • Reduced idle aim sway
  • Reduced chance of Heterochromia from 10% to 5%
  • Reduced intensity of two color penis darker color
  • Muzzle flash switches between barrels
  • Added weapon reloading effect
  • Actors no longer try to follow you when knocked out
  • Adjusted weapon firing effect (faster, a bit less opaque)
  • Adjusted prey palette rarities (from 0.9/0.09/0.01 to 0.8/0.17/0.03)
  • Player can no longer walk while aiming
  • Changed prey spawning rules to have prey specific body parts (e.g. lynx with short tail or bob tail)
  • Changed initial crew to spawn with more boring eye colors and no body part randomization
  • Disabled snow in main menu (it’s still winter, but I’ve forgotten to disable it x))
  • Disabled color profile from desert
  • Fixed crouch movement and idle while holding the rifle
  • Fixed bullet sometimes going through prey or obstacles
  • Fixed two overlapping faders on island
  • Fixed IK system fighting with movement controller
  • Fixed inconsistencies in cursor capturing
  • Fixed arupt animation ending when firing the last bullet
  • Fixed player being able to unequip weapon while loading
  • Fixed dead frame when transitioning from normal mode to aim mode

How to play:

  • Move with WASD
  • Press Q to equip/unequip gun
  • Hold RIGHT mouse button to aim
  • Press LEFT mouse button to shoot
  • Press R to reload when out of ammo (two times shot)
  • Press CTRL to crouch (note: Prey AI is currently fairly dormant)
  • Hold E to capture OR revive tranquilized prey (this is a placeholder mechanic)
  • Press SPACE to progress or end acts
  • Hold E to trigger acts (if you have a prey following you AND have gun unequipped)

Known issues:

  • Closer camera minimum distance makes you able to look inside actors, will be polished further later on!
  • Weapon equip/unquip is a temporary flip only
  • You can drop off the island, and get stuck
  • NPCs can’t hear you, so they only escape if they spot you
  • Capture animation is sometimes not in sync between the two characters
