I was able to improve the stability of the application. The frequency fluctuations have also been reduced. I also added basic support for AIDA64. The update will be available here and through the automatic update system.

Why is there a difficulty? There are 3 types of load: ultra light, medium and AVX. Each dynamic profile has a number of rules for handling different types of load. There are situations where a system reboot occurs while running a light application. This happens because the frequency is too high during a very light load. Sometimes this value can exceed 5200MHz. Calibration takes time and patience. To solve this problem in most cases just lower the OB for PX HIGH. The step value is 18 or just increase the voltage by 25mV. for example 1375 - 1400.

If you have any questions, write in the comments, we'll discuss everything.

You can use the values from the previous version, but to get the best performance you should run a new diagnostic with each new version. Fortunately, this event only happens a few times a month.

...thank you Yuri. Hopefully some of the honest feedback from your loyal patreons have helped improve the quality of your product

Luckily there are such people, and the CTR experts team contributes a lot to testing and sharing their suggestions to improve the product. But we can improve the product step by step.

Question about PX: manual says PX OB LIMIT + PX PROFILE frequency = maximum freq peak, so PX OB (mV) + PX Profile (mV) = maximum voltage? If I use 1375 mV PX High, OB High mV shouldn't be more than 125, so I won't get above 1500 mV ? Thank you for your great work!

OB is CO, the behavior is identical, it does not increase the current voltage, it creates a virtual offset of the frequency/voltage curve. Your processor is always safe. The principle of this technology: we tell the processor that it consumes a higher voltage, it increases the frequency. In reality we do not change the voltage. That is, we cheat the processor.

Hello Yuri. as far as I know, CTR allows the max voltage up to 1375mv. how is the voltage increased to 1400mv?

Well done

The maximum voltage for the PX is 1.5 volts (maximum permissible). This is the standard voltage for AMD. My recommendation is not to exceed 1.45.

Is the version 13 compatible with the 3DMark while ver.8 was not so the "foreign...."messages were shown and couldn't use PX profile?

1usmus

This is just information. About a possible compatibility problem. In reality, this problem may not exist. In any case, I have reduced the number of system alerts in ver.13

To prevent reboots launching games I was able to achieve stability by decreasing OB High 2 stops, and OB mid 1 stop. Is the more ideal approach to focus on OB high by decreasing by 1 stop, and then increasing voltage by 25mv while leaving OB mid alone?

1usmus

First of all try not to decrease the OB, just increase the voltage. If this does not help, leave the increased voltage and start reducing the OB

Yuri, is it possible to have a complete setup guide for the newest version? Even if it is just the recommended setting for each BIOS option. It has gotten a bit confusing to me over all the different changes. Thank you for your work.

1usmus

It does not differ from previous versions. The video instructions are up to date. The only difference is the CPU LLC, the user can use any value he likes. What causes you difficulty?

So is version 13 online ?

Today...? Or not today....?

Man. I got even higher base frequencies and OB values over the previous version which was already fast (5950x). Tested thermals and stability of all profiles with Intel burn test and all is good. Great work.

here the frequency of the infinity fabric and dram goes up and crash/reboot. 5600x Golden sample.
