Lessons Analysis Episode 9.mp4

You calling Fullor “motherly” made me laugh! That was not the description I was expecting, but honestly it’s pretty accurate lol, he is quite nurturing. This episode touched me emotionally so much that even hearing the summary of it in this analysis made me tear up a bit- it’s such a tender but ultimately tragic love story (well, for this episode at least). I love how you’re not afraid to explore melancholy in audios; it’s such a beautiful experience even if it makes you sad. I feel like Fullor demonstrates the purest expression of love to the listener because he wants them to be happy, even if that’s not with him. In my head canon though, I find comfort in imagining that Fullor and the listener spent hundreds of years in a cottage in a beautiful meadow the listener created, kinda like the one in Howl’s Moving Castle 🥰 I imagine that they had picnics every day, learned philosophy and languages, painted and created music together, and continued to fall in love with new versions of each other after all those years. Gah, I’m such a hopeless romantic I have so much respect and admiration for you as a storyteller and audio creator, and I want to thank you for taking the time to do these analyses of the Lessons series. As someone with no technical knowledge of sound design, it’s been really fascinating to learn a little about and to see how much skill and attention to detail goes into creating a soundscape. Forever inspired by your passion and dedication to creating stories and worlds in our minds 🤍 Take care!

I do believe that a melancholy story although sad, can really make someone think and feel deeply and I love that I could try to make something that powerful. They did in fact spend hundreds of years together, and not only exploring art and each other, but also creating life, as you'll remember the Listener shows Fullor how. Definitely fuel for the romantic. 🥰 I'm so glad you enjoy my work, and this series, and these analyses specifically. It's truly a pleasure getting to spend my days creating and entertaining you all. Thank you so very much... 💕💕
