In general, things weren’t looking so hot for the human race, I could admit that freely enough. We blew ourselves to hell and back, and our refuge from a world bathed in nuclear hellfire was another world that had experienced the same a few centuries in the past. To be perfectly honest, the human race was in some truly dire straits if I was the best candidate to save us all from a self-inflicted annihilation.

Personally speaking though, things weren’t so bad, I decided, watching Yoruichi strip tease me like a master. There was a sly smirk on her face the entire time, the jumpsuit unzipped down to her navel, revealing sleek abs etched into her flat stomach, her hips gently swaying. Her undershirt was either missing or she had just never put one on, leaving her cleavage exposed, the edges of her jacket just shy of revealing her nipples. For a moment, I thought one was going to slip, only for Yoruichi to pull it back.

My disappointment must have shown because her smile grew. “Turnabout is fair play, Law. We got interrupted with Robin, but I never got my turn. From there, it was just work, work, work with you. I was feeling a little neglected~” She teased, a hand flowing over her stomach before undoing the button to her pants.

That was fair. Completely fair. Towards the end, things had started to spiral, and I got distracted with Homelander and Stan. She was completely on the mark.

However, we did not live in a fair world.

“Oh~!” Yoruichi teased as I swapped her with a pebble, bringing her into arms reach. “Couldn’t take the wait?” She said, her back pressed against my chest as my hands first roamed her sides, then her stomach, finding smooth flesh under my palms.

“I figured I could pay you back a better way,” I murmured into her ear and I didn’t need my Room up to know that she was smiling at that. My hands went up, sliding underneath her jacket to her breasts, cupping them in my hands and she hummed appreciatively.

“Maybe I like seeing you suffer,” She returned, her hand reaching back to my neck, not shying away from my touch. Yoruichi, if I had to put it into words, was the most like me. Robin had her past. Cinder had her ambition. Asami had the future. Rumi had the drive. Yoruichi, however, much like me, was a hedonist at heart. All those little things like risk vs reward, cost vs payoff, want vs need -- none of that really mattered to her. Like me, Yoruichi was a creature of desire.

“I’m sure you’ll find plenty of opportunities. But this is a brand new world. It’s like the New Year -- gotta start it off right,” I replied, kissing her neck and she leaned into it. My thumbs brushed over her dark and stiff nipples, stoking the desire that I felt inside of her.

“I wouldn’t call a hand-me-down brand new,” Yoruichi replied, grabbing one of my hands with her free one before dragging it down over her stomach and towards the hem of her pants. Easily, my hand slipped underneath to find that Yoruichi hadn’t bothered with panties either. She made a noise of appreciation when my fingers first stroked her damp slit, her legs widening to give me easier access as she leaned more against me. “The locals are interesting, at least.”

That was one way to put it. Put another way… the word ‘feral’ came to mind, and was a little more accurate. I could feel them scurrying about within my Room, and if I wanted to, I could hear their plans and their plots to take me out. Or their plans to get a leg up under the new management. They were also scurrying about to obey my order to take the power plant -- I had no idea where it was, but we seem to have landed on a gold mine here.

“It’s a starting point,” I told her, nibbling on her earlobe before the tips of my fingers began to massage slow circles to coax her clit out of its hood. “The old world is dead and it won’t be long before we’re kings and queens of this one. Things will find their equilibrium soon enough on both sides of the portal, and what do you think happens next?”

“A conquest of the multiverse?” Yoruichi ventured, and I think it said a lot about me that she was assuming that was option one.

“Now that you mention it, probably. Eventually,” I admitted, Yoruichi sighing and not only because I rubbed small circles against her clit directly. “But before that, Asami is going to continue her hunt for her world. She hasn't realized it yet, but the best way to do that isn't to build up enough power and make a single big jump. It's a bunch of smaller jumps.” I coaxed her pleasure, and in no time at all, my fingers were slick with Yoruichi’s arousal.

“Before, we were going to be guests in new worlds. Me, you, Robin, and maybe Cinder -- showing up and raising hell. When we had our fun, we’d move on, maybe with someone special in tow,” I said, looking out at the theme park. It wasn't remotely ready yet, but it would be soon enough. A couple of months. A year, maybe. “But now, we’re putting down roots. Building upon a foundation.”

Yoruichi laughed, and I could tell she knew exactly what I was thinking. “It's not enough to raise hell, so you're going to bring it with you?” She questioned, looking back at me to see my smile. She leaned in, pressing her lips against mine as we kissed deeply, my tongue entering her mouth and our tongues waging their own private war.

She couldn't have phrased it better. This world… we would see if something really grabbed my attention, but if a bunch of feral raiders was the best it had to offer, then it wasn't what I was looking for personally. Still, this world had potential. A staging ground where my word was law. From here, we would venture out to other worlds, and one of them would be more my speed.

A hub world. A place that would hold my interest. Where we could set down roots. Rather than a daisy chain leading wherever Asami was trying to go, I would create a central point and worlds like this one, places that had things of interest, would be used to support the hub world. Almost like what we were planning for this emergency stop -- taking from the old world; medicine, food, people, fertilizer, and so on, to bring to this one. Only on a much grander scale.

Yoruichi broke the kiss, her hand dipping low to my groin to feel my erection through my pants. “That had better be for me,” she teased, and I chuckled, kissing her. She grabbed my hands before spinning me around, pushing me onto a park bench that had been brought up. She dropped her jacket and stepped out of her pants, leaving on only a pair of boots.

“I'm excited for the future,” I admitted. “Both near and far off,” I added when she stepped forward, undoing my jacket and my pants. “I didn't think I would be. After Homelander… I dunno. I was worried that I wouldn't find a goal.”

Yoruichi masterfully fished my cock out of my pants, straddling me before cupping my cheeks. “Preventing your species from going extinct isn't a goal?” She asked me before the tip of my cock found her entrance. My hands slid up her smooth thighs, grabbing hold of her ass and finding it the perfect balance between firm and soft.

“Meh~hn…” I sighed when in a single thrust, Yoruichi sheathed my cock inside of her. Her slick silken walls gripped me in a vice, before she began to shake her hips, an amused smile tugging at her lips. This was a little different, I decided, my fingers sinking into soft flesh while her breasts bounced with the force of her own thrusts. I stoked her pleasure, to the same point that had left Cinder moaning senslessly as I fucked her. “You always say ‘your species.’ ‘You humans.’” I pointed out, already feeling a tightening in my balls.

“I'm not human. At least, not what you would call human. I'm more of a spirit that happens to be in a human body at the moment… so, you can stop teasing me. I'm…” she trailed off, tilting her head to the side. “Four hundred years old? Five? Maybe six? I'm definitely not seven hundred,” she muttered, more to herself than me. Then she shook her head, “Point is, you won't break me like one of your toys.”

Honestly, there was a whole lot to unpack there, and I couldn't help but think that she chose to drop that ball when I was balls deep in her. Any other time, I might have questions, like ‘What?’ or ‘Am I fucking a ghost right now?’ However, I was currently distracted by her full breasts capped with chocolate brown nipples that stood at attention bouncing hypnotically. What I did process out of that statement was that she could take what I had to throw at her.

So I stoked her pleasure further, building it and I saw the slow creeping effect that it was having on Yoruichi. Her flesh pimpled, her hips shaking became harder and faster to the point I'm pretty sure the bench would break under them, while a drunken sheen entered her gaze. Already, she was at the point that mindbroke Popclaw and Victoria, but she was still there. So I kept stoking her pleasure while I capped a lid on it. A fire became a bonfire, which in turn became a house fire. The pressure building and building under the load that I placed, stopping her from cumming.

She was hardly idle herself. Cinder had struck me as experienced when it came to sex, Robin less so, but Cinder could hardly hold a candle to Yoruichi.

Sex, at the starting line, was pretty great. It felt good and it ended on such a high that it was given its own tier of things that were awesome -- the orgasmic high. I’m not sure if it was a case of the quality of girls that I had been sleeping with, but so far, I never had what I could call bad sex. However, when Yoruichi stopped holding back, I soon discovered what great sex was like.

As she shook and rolled her hips, her walls milked me, making my cock throb. If I let myself, I would be a real minuteman, so I pushed my impending orgasm back. Yet, for every second that it was delayed the pressure built, and there was a very real concern in the back of my mind that if I wasn’t careful, I could end up like Popclaw or Victoria.

In the end, it wasn’t up to me. As her pussy glided up and down my cock, filling the penthouse with the sound of flesh on flesh, my control slipped. My cock throbbed to the point that it was almost painful before the orgasm I had pushed back slammed into me full force and I erupted inside of her. My hips jerked up, my fingers sinking into her soft flesh.

Yoruichi leaned forward, pressing her lips against mine before moaning into my mouth as the blinding bliss made my control slip on hers. She came hard, her arousal dousing my lap, but she was in far more control of herself than I was. For a long moment, I forgot how to breathe and the only thing I was aware of was my cock throbbing in her pussy as my balls did their damndest to fill her womb to the brim.

Time became a distant concept in that moment. I had no idea how long it lasted. I just know that it eventually did end when I heard Yoruichi’s voice in my ear. “That was worth the wait,” she told me.

I couldn’t agree more.

“It's done, Overboss,” Gauge said, standing before a bloodied bunch of raiders. I had yet to see a ghoul for myself, but they evidently seemed dangerous. “We had a few losses. No more than a dozen. The power plant is up and running now… are we going to hit the other worlds now?” There was an eagerness to his voice. Desire. Apparently he wanted to go full speed ahead on capturing the rest of the park.

“Sure thing. Just give me a minute to set something up,” I replied, taking the Anchor off of my back as I looked around. The location was about as perfect as I could feasibly get, almost dead center in the entire theme park. “Now, out of all of them, you said which one was the most dangerous?” I asked, clearing the ground a bit.

Asami had made the Anchor as simple as she could because she didn't know what we would find on the other end of the portal. So, she prepared the Anchor to connect with generally anything -- it just needed to have power. There was even a little arrow on the Anchor that showed which way the portal would face when it opened.

The underbosses traded a quick look, uncertain if they wanted to be honest. Would I send them to it? Would I take care of it? They didn't know, and because of it they were afraid. It was Mags that found her voice first, interestingly enough. “The Safari Zone. The rest… they're dangerous, but we could handle them. It'd take more than we have to secure the Safari Zone.”

Oh. Interesting. My gaze slid to her, and I still sensed her fear but it was more controlled. Now that she found her footing, she had also found her voice. “Then that's the one I'll handle. Should be fun,” I said, getting the Anchor all set up with a couple of cables that tapped into the power grid. The Anchor turned on, measuring the output… green. Nice.

“Do you require assistance?” Mags offered and I fought off a smile at the obvious attempt to get some brownie points. I thought about shutting it down, but when I saw the others shift… I had a much more entertaining idea.

“Thanks, but that won't be necessary. I want to play with the local wildlife, and you'd get in the way,” I said and I could practically see Mags fighting off a smile whIle the others fought a scowl. “I'll keep the offer in mind if we find something else dangerous enough for me to need some help,” I added, wiping that faint smile right off her face.

Hm. I outgrew the Eight so quickly that I had missed the opportunity to mess with them like this. Playing them against each other for my favor, completely oblivious to the fact that they were all equally disposable to me. There were only a handful of people that I wouldn't throw away for my amusement, and none of them realized that they weren't on the list. They'd learn, though.

“That’s… that's a fair division of labor, Boss,” Gauge said, sounding like he was processing what I said. That I felt perfectly capable of dealing with these Gatorclaws. “But can I ask what you're doing with that thing?” He questioned, sounding faintly nervous when I activated the Anchor fully. A single ring shifted and expanded before floating above the Anchor, slowly spinning in place. Power output was still green. That power plant had some serious juice to it.

Rather than answer with words, I finished letting it warm up before hitting the go button. The ring began to spin rapidly, going faster and faster and faster, reaching out across the multiverse for the tether that was on the old world. I felt a little thrill of uncertainty-- would it work? It was untested tech, after all.

But then a spot of white appeared inside of the spinning ring. The connection was made and then- in an instant, the ring was filled with the familiar sight of Asami's lab. I stood before it, waving inside to see Robin and the others while the Raiders behind me sputtered and flinched back. “Yo!”

I saw Asami leaning over her desk, seemingly surprised and annoyed in equal measures. “The connection is stable, but I'm getting some power fluctuations on your side. It'll do for now, but the portal shouldn't be up for more than thirty minutes at a time. What's the condition of the world?”

“Kinda shit, but I found a population of about two thousand. Seems sustainable and they had a power plant nearby. So, I'd say it's good enough to get the job done with some spit and elbow grease,” I gave the verdict with a thumbs up. I probably should have done a little more recon instead of fucking Yoruichi, I could admit, but that had been vastly more pleasurable.

With the decision made, I saw a scurrying on the other side of the portal. Robin and Cinder were leading the charge, so to speak, as I saw a couple hundred of my guys grabbing hold of pallets of supplies -- food, water, medicine -- and started marching them over. “Oh, by the way, I kinda conquered the locals. So keep an eye on them,” I added as Robin approached. Holding out a hand to her, she accepted with a smile as she was brought into a new world.

The Raiders found their voice and they were afraid. “Y- are you the Institute?!” I heard shouted as some of them outright ran away, much to Robin's amusement.

“I don't even know what that means, so probably not,” I said, finding myself interested a little. They saw a portal and thought ‘Institute?’ That was pretty interesting. I'm sure there was a story there and I wanted to hear it. But, first things first. “I'd explain it to you all… but I doubt any of you would understand it. Instead, look on the bright side -- you get to eat food that didn't expire two hundred years ago, you get clean water, and medicine to heal those injuries.”

Uncertainty. Fear. But that slowly bled away when the first pallets started to cross through. It was an initial investment, so to speak, to get us up and running as fast as possible to take care of the dead weight in the old world. The locals gave way, eyeing the newcomers, looking to me. I could tell that they were wary of the change, but in the end, their greed was more than their fear.

“Get some slaves over here to unload this,” Gauge ordered and Robin tilted her head ever so slightly.

“Slaves?” She echoed, glance at me. I, however, just shrugged.

“Don't look at me. I just got here,” I defended, and I could tell that the remark had been more idle curiosity than anything.

“Overboss, where would you want this stuff?” The Furry asked, also eager for some brownie points as slaves were brought up from the market. Their eyes were wide as they beheld the supplies, some of them breaking down into tears. He seemed to get down when I shrugged with indifference while Robin chuckled.

“I see that you've landed on your feet,” she noted as the supplies and people kept coming through. I just gave her a lopsided smile in response before Robin's gaze turned to business. “For now, Asami will be staying in New York to oversee operations there. We're sending in two hundred and fifty gang members to help secure the location, but Asami wants to send over five thousand civilians as soon as possible.”

I scratched at my cheek, “From what I'm seeing, the land is still pretty dead. We have some locations to expand into, so we could physically house them but food and water is going to be an issue initially. Starting some small scale farms is going to be necessary.” To that, Robin nodded. That was perfectly within our expectations. “I was about to clear out one of them, and if she's sending over a bunch of civvies… it'd probably be better to do it sooner rather than later.”

“Before you go… the locals?” Robin asked, looking at them.

“The word feral comes to mind. We'll probably have to kill some of them,” I answered with a shrug. Simply put, the civilians were about to enter a shark infested lake when they were a bunch of minnows. “But, we can use them until then.”

Robin nodded at me as I turned away, watching the two groups interact. Skittish and standoffish on both sides. I snorted in amusement and shook my head. Oh, that was going to be a headache for someone. It just wasn’t going to be- hm. It would be Robin’s headache, wouldn’t it?

“Hey,” I called out, bringing everyone's attention to me. “If any of you fight, I’ll fucking kill you. Got it?” Based on the expression of abject fear I got in response, yes, they very much got it. I sent a smile Robin’s way, who looked entirely too amused for her own good. There, that should make things easier on her end, but that was enough work for me.

Now it was time to play.

“May I accompany you?” Cinder requested, approaching. I didn’t see Starlight anywhere. I suppose she was staying in New York. That was probably a smart call, I had to admit -- we couldn’t afford to shuffle things around too much. As it was, the New York side of things was vastly more unstable due to external and internal factors. Fear of me would only last so long, so having Supes on hand to keep everyone in line could only help.

“Sure thing,” I agreed easily, dragging Yoruichi and Cinder in tow as I started heading to the Safari Zone. It was a little trek away, but it gave me a decent view of the various zones and their whole vibe. I was pretty much on the mark with my guesses, I saw, seeing the sci-fi and the cowboy theme. There was an unnatural stillness to the theme parks, I noticed. They were rundown and in a state of crumbling disrepair, but there were signs of the bombs.

A skeleton in front of a stroller that had fallen over. Piles of bones at dining tables, where they had been enjoying a meal. A ride that was frozen in place after two hundred years. It was chilling, in a way. Especially because it was a reminder my old world would look much the same in two hundred years. Cold, dead, frozen in time with feral people living in the shadow of civilization.

Because of Homelander. Because of the morons that decided to get trigger happy with nukes.

Because of me.

“Hm,” I hummed as we closed in on the Safari Zone, looking it over with interest. I could see signs of the life that the place once had with clusters of dead trees standing in soil beds. There were piles of bones at the entrance -- dozens of skeletons worth, but they had been swept to the side without any fanfare or respect.

“Is something the matter?” Cinder questioned, eager to worm her way into my good graces. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Yoruichi roll her eyes but said nothing as we entered the area. It was tempting to use my Room, but I wasn’t sure I wanted the spoilers. The Anchor was set, so things weren’t in emergency mode anymore- well, they weren’t for me.

“Nothing,” I replied, moving on from the feeling of… guilt, I suppose. I did it out of love for Homelander, but I couldn’t deny my part in the world ending. Dealing with the grief of losing my idol had taken precedence, but… hm. “I’m just-” I began, only to cut myself off when I heard a low hiss. Continuing on unafraid, I entered the park fully to see the source.

A Gatorclaw, I reckon.

About eight feet tall, reptilian with dark green scales with a pale tan undercoat on his stomach. Large claws that were more like kitchen knives, thick arms, and legs, with a reptilian tail. He almost looked like Godzilla, just a little bit, with a more extended maw that was filled with too many teeth. Dark reptilian eyes with a golden split pupil immediately zeroed in on me, the slit nostrils twitching as he took in a deep sniff in our direction.

Then he roared.

My mixed feelings were forgotten as a wide smile found its way onto my face. A Gatorclaw was a miniature Godzilla?

Hell yeah!
