October News 2 (Patreon)

Hello Patrons!

This month was full of great surprises and probably one of the most work-intensive months I had so far. I'm also a bit late on the Patreons releases, but late doesn't mean lack of content, it just means it arrives at the end of the month. In that regard, I'll share another pack of ambiences tomorrow.

Let me share some exciting news.

1) Building a team

"Michael Ghelfi" is more and more looking like a team and we want to keep growing.

Currently, we are three. One person for the promotion, one for the YouTube visuals and me for anything audio and community-related. I'll also be looking for someone to export YouTube videos soon so I can focus on audio more. I LOVE interacting with the community on YT videos, but I really dislike the process of video creation.

Working with people motivates me so much. I used to be a project manager in cybersecurity, and not having people to work with for the past months wasn't ideal. I'm a very social person. It feels awesome to finally work together on such a beautiful project.

I just wanted to share my happiness :)

2) Other composers

 I've been looking for someone to compose A LOT MORE music, to have a complete coverage of music + ambiences + SFX. I cannot mention names yet, but the discussions are going very well and you may soon receive several times more music on this Patreon. Cross your fingers for me!

3) Patreon Goals

You seem to really enjoy the SFX I create. It's a process I really love as well, but I can't fully dedicate myself to them. In that regard, I added a 'goal' for Patreon. Once we reach 3'700$ per month, I'll be looking for recruiting a SFX composer so you could enjoy at least 20 SFX monthly. I'll still compose some myself, but not all. I may refactor the Patreon tiers when it happens, as it's currently a 'bonus'.

4) Logo and visual identity

We are making progress in that regard. Right below, a visual for the new tiers (they will only be renamed, no worries). We'll be moving away from the 'we are a guild' generic identity, to something closer to what we have on the discord server.
