Happy Mayternity 2023!

A concept that came to me while chatting to some friends who are big fans of Jenna and her portrayal of Wednesday Addams. I was thinking how her womb was like a Gate of Hell. Just going for full supernatural in contrast to how her friend is a werewolf and she seems to just have unexplained ominous powers. So for me it makes sense. But during the Sex Ed and Planned Parenthood classes things go a bit too extreme for the young woman. But she handles it like a champ.

For this piece I used both Procreate ( pun intended ) and Clip Studio Paint which I have been self learning as a way to switch over to a new drawing application that has the benefits of both Procreate and Photoshop but on the Ipad Pro. Its a learning curve and there are some downsides but the powers are meaning I am making an active effort to improve some shortfalls in my abilities.

One of the main things I am concentrating on is codifying my self into a more clear and repeatable thing with inspirations from anime and manga to help form a backbone. It's been good to focus on practice the last few weeks and take my time to flesh out anatomy and expressions to be more interesting.

Then my friend WeightComicGuy who helped with some suggestions to the concept gave me some cool Cryptids to add in to her poor stretched out womb. I haven't had the time to draw the X-Ray though for this but I think I could be a bit too intense so use your imaginations to see where those little monsters are distending that poor stretched out bump of a tummy.
