Now I'm getting warmed up. This is more or less the direction I was going to go with Alinga and Alkina. The background is inspired by Aboriginal art, which is an excellent thing, and I really didn't do it justice, so just look it up. It's pretty amazing.

Next up: more surrealism and less physics! Also a better background! The "dots" definitely could've been finer. Also placed better in some areas. ._.

Though to be fair, this is decent for a first try. Gotta polish up the technique.

Also was pretty relaxing to make for the most part.

Enjoy! :D

So many furs. Did your poor computer cry for mercy rendering this? :)

Poor computer? What poor computer? I used to have one, but now, thanks to all the fine folks here, I have a frickin beast! :D So no, it barely noticed the 4,400,000 hairs and tessellation. The old computer, though, would've caught fire as soon as it realized what it's just been told to render. ._.

Looking great! Nice palette and a lovely pose. I'm eager to see what kinds of personalities the two of them will develop as they get into more images.

This would look so amazing as a background on my computer, but I don't want to crop it to make it fit. It's so colorful and pretty. I like the contrast. I think you replicated this image quite well. Even though they're twins and their pose is pretty much identical Alkina looks cuter. Something about her face looks different (aside from the obvious features). Good job Tchai.

At first glance I thought the background was a Trajinera, I was like "when did they came to Mexico?" http://static.panoramio.com/photos/large/84752188.jpg

Also, Damn that fur looks so soft I want to bury my face in it!

But I wasn't replicating that image. .-. It's like the least Aboriginal result in any search. XD And yes, it's about Alinga's face being lit not as well as Alkina's. Darker fur = darker shadows. Also I guess the fur pattern changes the apparent shape a little. Thanks!

lol, I guess the background does have a bit of a Mexican feel to it. Gotta practice this thing some more, yes. Glad you like also! The longest and fluffiest fur is on their butts btw! <w<
