Have you ever seen dozens of scientists panicking, and fleeing in terror?
So much intellect, yet we were driven by our most primal instincts. Like animals.
It's nothing you'd want to see. It's insane.
Because when a scientist has to run from their own work, you know it's already too late to run.
And the worst thing?
In our panic, we forgot to cut it off, or even seal the facility. And we were too afraid to come back and do it.
Hopefully the ones who didn't make it safely outside are dead and unsalvageable.

I've been working on this for almost 5 months. ._.
It's my great big piece for this year I guess!
Gotta mention that it was inspired by the magnificent art of Simon Stålenhag. Just holy crap. ;A;
So, apart from working on this for possibly the longest time, it also maxed out many other records I have. Let's see:
- It took 4 hours, 11 minutes, and 49 seconds to render (slowest for the new rig so far).
- Required 20 gb (twenty - YES, TWENTY GIGABYTES) of RAM at rendertime.
- It has over 200,000 individual hairs (yay for temporary Jinjing-Yu translation - so floofy), and over 1,500,000 grass blades. Yes, you read that right - 1.5 MILLION.
- Also the most dense, physically-correct, volumetric cloud coverage.
- As well as the most tessellated/displaced objects (including the terrain).
- It had the most render elements so far, and after initial processing, there were 25 files to work with.
- And lastly, the largest amount of light sources (the little red orbs are actual lights, and there are like 20 of them, plus the skylight, and the barely-there sunlight).
IT WAS INSANE
But holy shit, am I proud of it! Just for that reason, I'm posting it in full size for all Patrons!
Enjoy! :D
P.S. Pardon my lack of replying to comments and messages; haven't been feeling great. Should hopefully get to it in a few days!
