Hi,

Last time I mentioned I'd have a video up by January, but that obviously didn't happen. I had company over for the past week and a half, and I figured I'd be able to finish up the Mode 7 video then, but I just didn't have time. This week I am in Herndon, VA for Awesome Games Done Quick (http://www.gamesdonequick.com), so this week is out. Next week I will be catching up on the week of classes I am missing this week, so I'm going to be swamped, yet again. I did manage to get a helper script working that will help a lot with the visualizations for many future videos though, and the next video is about half-way done.

Because of this, I was thinking of changing the pledge method from monthly to per creation, but it seems I can't change to that after enabling charging up front. The only way I'd be able to do that is to create a new account I guess. If I get enough support towards switching it, I can work on doing that soon.

I understand if you think I'm slacking, because I know I am for sure. It turns out that it is much more difficult spreading myself out between a bunch of hobbies than I expected--normally I feel kind of sad when I don't have time to do something I want to work on, but in this case I feel much worse since I'm letting a bunch of you guys down with my lack of consistency. I'll try my best to get better at this during 2018.

Thank you for reading! :)

Life happens--I'm not bothered.

Can you really not switch it from Monthly to Per-X? That's a pretty big oversight by Patreon.

A lot of creators I pledged to had "time off" for the holidays. Fact of life is that you're a human too and that means you're entitled to some down time. I personally don't think that you creating a new page and transferring your patrons over is worth it just because you (understandably) slipped once. What I've seen other creators do when this happens is offer some of the higher rewards at a lower value for a certain period as a bonus. Keep being awesome.

Before considering changing accounts I'd definitely get in touch with Patreon support, surely the can help a transition :)
