Anime (Patreon)

Since I mentioned that I'd been re-watching "That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime" the other day, then I thought I would share some of the other anime that I've been watching this season.

The Unwanted Undead Adventurer - I have been disappointed in this anime. It's not bad. On the contrary, It's pretty good, but I expected a lot more from this. I thought they would delve very deeply into the fact that he is undead, but they practically skip right over it. This could just be "The Unwanted Adventurer" with a human protagonist and the anime wouldn't be any different.

Solo Levelling - I am really enjoying this anime. It's great! :D

'Tis Time for "Torture" Princess - This is a really weird anime, but I am finding it hilarious. :)

7th Time Loop - This is a solid anime. Probably not for everyone, but I am very intrigued by the story.

Doctor Elise - Another solid anime. Very charming and interesting.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End - This anime is simply fantastic! I cannot rave about it enough! The way it touches on the very long lives of Elves. The way it's like a fantasy slice-of-life anime, and then drops combat bombs on you. The cast and the story. There are just so many wonderful layers to this anime! :D

Hokkaido Girls are Super Adorable - This is a really fun and cute romance anime. Almost a harem anime. It's pretty fun to watch and has quite a few "feels good" moments.

Meiji Gekken: 1874 - Interesting anime. I have been enjoying it. I am curious to see where it goes. 

Sasaki and Peeps - I have also been really enjoying this anime. There is a lot of good stuff here, and I am super interested to see how the story plays out.

Sengoku Youko - Another interesting anime. When I say, "interesting" I sort of mean mid-tier. Like it's not great, and certainly not bad. It's kind of middle of the road. That said, last week's episode made me cry. It was so sad!

Shangri-La Frontier - Another very good anime. I have been really enjoying it. It's very solid.

Tales of Wedding Rings - This is a fun Harem anime, but I am kind of getting tired of those. Nothing wrong with this. I am still watching it, but there isn't really anything new here.

The Apothecary Diaries - This is not for everyone, but I absolutely LOVE this anime! The story and characters are just phenomenal! It's got elements of a murder mystery, and I just can't wait to find out "who done it"! :D

The Strongest Tank's Labyrinth Raids - Another fun fantasy anime.

The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick up Trash - So far this has just been a very cute fantasy world anime. However, I feel like they are really building up to something and I am curious to see what it is. They keep dropping subtle hints of something more going on, and I have no clue what it is. :)

The Witch and the  Beast - Very solid anime. I am enjoying this one.

The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic - This is a very unique anime. A very refreshing take on the classic Isekai. I am enjoying the characters and the story line. They are building up to a really big confrontation and I can't wait to see how it plays out.

Villainess Level 99 - Another fun anime that has some pretty hilarious stuff going on.

Brave Bang Bravern - The sleeper title of this season, in my opinion. It's been a while since I've watched a really good Mecha anime, and this show absolutely nails it! It starts off very serious, and then interjects absolute hilarity into the mix. And I think it strikes just the right balance of both! :D

Tsukimichi - This is the second season. I am not finding season 2 as good as season 1, but we will just have to see where they take things.
