Problems:

So no recent blue screens, however Daz has locked up mid render a few times in the last couple of days. It will be rendering a scene that should take 30 minutes, I'll check on the status of it, and it'll be 2 hours into the render. The time will keep increasing, but the completion status doesn't change.

If I End Task on Daz, then my RTX 3060 (which is my main GPU) basically stops working. More specifically, I will check Daz and that GPU is listed as, "a2354b55854dg87" instead of, "RTX 3060". If I resume renders, then they just fail. The GPU resumes working properly if I do a restart.

So it seems that I can't use both cards to render right now, which means everything is going to take twice as long as normal. I mean, that's how we've been doing things for a long time, but I hadn't been doing that recently. I'd been using both cards to speed things up.

I am not sure exactly how that's going to affect the production pipeline, but we'll figure it out. :)

It does mean that this week is a little messed up. I had intended to release more Ditzy Laundry Two today, more Valentines tomorrow, and TBND 3 on Saturday. That is all going to be pushed back at least a day now.

Weather:

So we had the "4 days of death" in January that I mentioned, with nearly -50 C temperatures for half a week, but it's been comparatively warm since then. In fact, it was +8 C more than once last week.

And then all of that ended on Sunday...

It dropped to -20 C (-30 with wind chill) and dumped more than a foot of snow in one night. My buddy didn't even go to work on Monday. His car couldn't make it up the unploughed street, because the snow drifts were two and three feet high.

It has continued to snow since, but only a light dusting of like 1 cm a day. The temperatures have also continued to be very cold, though obviously not the ridiculous temps of January.

In short, most of February was a very mild winter, and then it went, "Haha! Fooled you" during the last week of the month. :/
