We're bearing down on the final checkmarks on the roadmap and so I wanted to talk about them. I actually group them into several different categories, some of which are clearer in my mind and some of which are still "unsolved" in my head to some degree. I don't want to mention exactly which ones, as that will just bias people, so this post will be a bit vague.

Two of the remaining checks I am crystal clear on. To give one actual example, Orcent will get a whole dungeon that involves the orc party members. Don't expect a solid hour of philosophy, but I think the whole event will be appropriate to him and I hope people will like it.

Two harem quests I just need to do. Characters get dungeons relevant to their interests or culminate various portions of the game, no problem. There's a fair bit of work involved in fleshing out their quests, but nothing tangled or tricky.

Two checks are still frustrating me. I have a core idea, a reason I put that character on the endgame quest list, but I'm not entirely sure how to execute it. Maybe the idea isn't quite there, maybe I don't have in mind a clear mechanic. These are the ones that bug me, because I don't want to rush into them and create a sub-par quest.

Also, there's the Renthnor Wilds, which is more a grab bag of different content than a unified task remaining to be done. Don't expect to map the Wilds or anything - recall that when the roadmap was introduced, the Wilds were barely sketched or visitable. This piece of the roadmap exists to represent all the sidequests, stores, and other features in the Wilds.

I always struggle with these periods. It is absolutely possible to shift problems for later, but it's also possible to ignore the difficult tasks - I don't want to stare down the final quests and realize my subconscious didn't come through for me. It's possible to tackle difficult problems, but it's also possible to bang your head against things fruitlessly when you should have just worked on something else. These quests are wrapping up major parts of TLS, I don't want to push through them just to get "meh" responses.

So that's my current dilemma. I'd hoped to make more progress while working on TLS 0.69.x, but don't let me make this a gloomy post: there are absolutely some great quests I can't wait to show everyone. Please look forward to everything!

I would like to know where Orcs come from, they seem different to other races.

I think it would be even more thematically fitting if the Renthnor wilds couldn't be fully explored... If it's possible having some 'wildlands' areas being randomly generated/selected maps with different enemy pools each time you visit would be kinda fun and thematic, maybe
