You’ll see two guys in scene, tagged appropriately. Experiment with their conversation options and let us know what you think.

And yes… we know that conversation is pretty lame. :-D

I voted expressions, but I think animations would be fine if there were a few more frames for mouth movement and the expression carried over more with the animation.

I like the animation better. By the way is there a list of planned features anywhere? Like fetishes and stuff?

As we have our hands pretty full at the moment, we’ve left that for when we launch the demo and have some feedback. However, some fetishes have been already identified as popular in the forum, such as ‘pregnancy/oviposition’. :-D I also have a personal inclination towards slavery being more prominent in the plot, as an alternative ‘route’ of sorts (Krys ultimately winning her freedom so the story continues). But all of these would be optional, of course, and implemented later in development.

After going back and forth between these two, I'd say animations are better in the end. One thing that bothers me though is that they don't carry over emotions. For example in the 1st dialogue option, Krys goes angry-mode during "......" part, and then goes back to her regular expression while she should still be angry since she's berating the poor guy for being a creep. If the rest of the face would still portray the state she was in a second ago with the only difference being her mouth moving since she's talking, the animations would be superior in my opinion. As for the rest, the BJ scene is great, I especially love the fact that it actually has an ending. A lot of games just loop the cum animation and call it a day, so seeing an actual ending to the scene with Krys kneeling and catching her breath was a pleasant surprise. I also absolutely hate you for getting my hopes up when I saw that something has changed with the clearing in the jungle :|

Yeah, that was a fault on my part. For all conversations to look good I'll need to make an effort at scripting them to the finest detail possible and that includes things like you say: making sure I use the correct expressions when she's not talking. And sorry about the teasing, hehe... :-D

So far the animations look really good! Not having try to keep up with text really lets me take the time to appreciate the facial expressions. The BJ animation was quite smooth, and the balls twitching during the orgasm was a nice touch! Would it be presumptuous of me to assume that the final game will have ways to change the outcome or actions of certain sex scenes with dialogue choices? Finally, I was curious about the fetishes/paths available in the game. Earlier you mentioned certain ones proving popular, such as pregnancy or slavery, but what about more mundane options, such as lesbians, or even romance options? I realize it's impossible to fit everyone's particular favorites in the game, but I couldn't help but feel curious about it all the same. Also, will there be a way to filter certain types of content for those who might not wish to see certain things? An odd question, I'm sure, but I'll ask it all the same.

Hi Kodiak. Not an odd question at all! 😝 Yeah, ways to avoid certain fetishes will be seamlessly included. Not all of them, of course, so I don’t get crazy at trying to make a coherent story, but things like slavery will be so pervasive plot-wise that you’ll have to choose if you want to follow them early on in each chapter. Other things like pregnancy can be considered less intrusive and can be avoided by simply not starting the ‘quest’. About the choices in sex scenes, if I’m to be honest I even didn’t thought about it, but the way I’m scripting cutscenes, conversations and sex animations… yes, that could be a simple matter in fact. Thanks for the idea! 😉

Well, it seems animations have won the poll by a large margin, so I'll work on trying to improve them from now on. Male lizards also will need some love in that department, and seeing how their mouths are... I think I'll need to take a look a some TMNT episodes to have some kind of reference... :´-D

I'm definitely in favor of the animations, but I'm not really that much of a fan of Krystal's mouth movement in particular. I think I've read a couple of rants on mouths being located awkwardly on the side of the muzzles, or in this case, cheeks of furry characters when in profile before, but unlike those I recall my issue isn't really with "realism". It looks kind of awkward here because it's animated and doesn't really maintain the illusion that there is a mouth in the first place, instead just sort of looking like a texture drawn on the side of her face. It also doesn't mesh well with the fluidity of her body and eye movement. To be honest, it grinds a bit against the rest of the game's style, at least of what we have seen so far.

Yeah, lip animation and syncing is a serious business. That's why we thought to make the poll, because at my current level of expertise I know it's not going to look at the same level as the rest of the animations, and people needed to choose the lesser evil for us. It’s also worth noting that the mouth switching is fully procedural and random, so it’s never going to look really well. I still need to speed it up a bit and add more mouth variants though (there are only four now), so there’s some chance for you guys seeing a better version in the demo.
