Hey Patrons!

This week we have been perfecting the art of animation. This gif is just a quick clip of something we did today to show you some differences, but this will be refined much more in the future! 

Now, everything we have done so far has been based off of real time inverse kinematics, and not static animations. That is how we can easily handle our dynamic interactions, since they aren't "Static". However, we are working on a new system that will handle the transition between animations and our dynamic IK system.

This is opening up some awesome new possibilities! We can now have good looking model animations running, but if you grab the model in anyway, we will dynamically transition out to our physics engine smoothly!

We have only scratched the tip of the iceberg with this, but it is looking awesome!

We plan to test this out with our new Sci-Fi dungeon scene. We will be creating animations, and physics for the models in there very soon, so stay tuned!
