A thing a lot of people missed, when we smash cut to that girl in the hospital bed, that is megumi’s sister. He said back in season one that she has been in a coma since she was attacked by a curse.

Those 5 edicts at the end are partly misinformation, but mainly I think its the old bastards at the top of Jujutsu society scrambling to push through their own agenda now that Gojo isn't stopping them. They want Geto dead cos he caused everything, they want Gojo to remain sealed cos they can move with more freedom without his influence blocking them, they want Yuji dead cos they fear sukuna and they want Yaga dead for reasons. I'm not sure why but I think its probably that he's Gojo's ally and has control of one of the big Jujutsu schools, and they want to control it more instead or sth like that. All in all, shit hit the fan quite spectacularly this season.

I think the story ties better together if they claim that "Geto survived" instead of it just being his body - this allows them to incriminate Gojo. Not sure why Yaga has to be a sacrificial lamb in this, but I assume for the same reason. Makes everything sound neat and tidy. In addition to all your points, of course. "'Twas all a conspiracy, I tell you! Those youngins and their teacher are at fault". - I imagine those old fogeys sound like that xD
