Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on this current chapter and have written about 15k so far. I'll keep going this evening, so I'm hoping to have finished it (or very close) by tonight.

.57: AI constructs, ... we have lost so many, ... bad Irillith 'deresing' so many prior to Faye, ... and there was original Nexus, on the moon, ... his Terran made copy, and his secondary copy / server still at the top-secret base at Beta Persei, after the Main Nexus (Primary-server) took off the wipe out Terra, ... and the Nexus wanna-be guarding Kythashara, that the gang destroyed / broke when they landed on / claimed the Throne world, ... and of course Larn'kelnar sliced the Invictus in half, incidentally vaporizing dear Faye's server, kill the perky purple pixie, and crushing John's spirit, ... -- Will Kythshara provide answers to creating new AIs? ... they do need to regain the flexibility and computing power Faye gave them, .... or will they develop new AIs based on Faye's Collective experiment, sweet Daphne (little one), ... thoughts to ponder, ... ;-) TTFN

The status update is appreciated. I also appreciate your commitment to get 160 out, however, please make sure to celebrate tonight with your family - in the end, family (in whatever form is meaningful to each person, birth, found, made) is what is truly important. Happy New Year, all.

Happy New Year Tefler! Please be sure to post a place holder or something so you're able to bill for this last month of the year. Other's have requested that you not do this, but I'll voice my opinion too and ask that you do. Amazing work almost catching up this month. As you said at the end of last month, you've had more time and it has borne fruit. Finished 158, 159 and it sounds like 160 will drop too. Fantastic production, thank you!

I haven't quite finished the chapter, but I'll post what I've done. It ends on a grim note, not really fitting for a New year's celebration, but I'll fix that with another scene or two. :)

Och, good point Michael. I hadn't done the math to figure out when it was in Merry Ol' England! Truth be told, I hadn't even noticed the time when I posted that - been so busy prepping for my own family's New Year Eve celebrations - if it wasn't for a set of phone alarms, dinner might be in the cat's hidyhole, the TV might be in the oven, and I'd probably be trying to figure out how to plug the cat into the cable box!

Patreon is so confusing. I clicked a view comment button in an email that said someone said the chapter was released 4 hours after my message. The button I click took me here, where there's no sign of that message, just one saying he promised to post it later today.

This is my biggest beef with Tefler....If you cant do something, then don't say you will do it...say I will do it as soon as I can...not In a few hours, or will do tomorrow morning....because inevitably, for whatever reason, he misses these deadlines, and that pisses people off more than the couple of bucks...

Hey M, you know when Faye comes back she won't be a part of "the collective" anymore. Which I think Daphne already realizes. Maybe John can enhance her to truly bridge the gap between Real girl and digital AI Goddess.

John's issues were due to his progenitoppr rogue spirit guide. He should have no problem going into the cyber realm EXCEPT the problem I have going into my daughter's room: give Daphne some privacy.
