I added Helene to the discussion about the runeswords. I originally kept her out of it because she's so open and honest, she'd struggle keeping a secret from John, but then I realised her empathic abilities made her important to the discussion. I've also fixed a few typos, so thanks everyone that warned me about those!

There is still hope for a miracle at getting 160 this month. Fingers crossed.

If we get 160 (in whole or in part) and don't get charged for 161, I'll increase my membership for 2023, so long as we aren't being pre-charged again. If Tefler offered annual pricing as some do, I'd consider that option as well, but I'm uncomfortable with the lack of regular, cordial communications at the moment. We used to hear from Tefler much more regularly back when he was working full time and writing in his spare time. Tefler, if you could start to allocate even 2-10 minutes a week to just post a note of any kind, I think it would help a lot. I know I'm not asking for daily updates, but even things like: "Hi. It's me. Things are going (pick one: slowly, well, hectically, etc.). Thank you for your continuing support." would be better than hearing nothing from you at all until the end of the month. Obviously, whatever you wanted to communicate would be fine, but the key thing there is to communicate. We miss hearing from you.

While your request sounds nice and reasonable on the surface, it's just one more thing on an overwhelming to do list. Tefler visits the Discord server (the service setup entirely to allow a free flow of thoughts, ideas, and communication) quite regularly. This is a poor platform for what you're suggesting as it's easy to miss things and searching is cumbersome at best. On the Discord server, it shows you where you left off and you can easily search by name, subject, category, etc. Consider using that and if you're curious to know status, Rus, Cignal, BigDawg, usually have the latest info.

Sceptre, I do log into Discord at least once a week, but I see no facility to see posts by Tefler and ONLY by Tefler that have emerged since last I checked, irrespective of topic. Does this exist?

You simply type Tefler in the search field a the top and you can see everything he's ever posted. Doing that just now returned 2 posts there today and 7200+ in the spoilers and predictions category alone.

The issue is that the deal we have with Tefler is here, not on discord. A post of, "Things are progressing, XXk written towards the next chapter' should be easy enough to find just scrolling and would likely take ten minutes to create. People don't seem to be wanting answers or a conversation, just a note that things are progressing and that the patrons aren't forgotten other then the last 7-10 days of the month when we get a chapter or two that was promised a month before. (More in some lamented cases.)

To ask a question for clarification,why would posting the same update we are told is posted to discord be so much harder and more time consuming to post here as to make it unreasonable to do so once or twice a month? If an author on finestories or Royal Road goes radio silent that is their choice as it is Teller's, but please forgive me if I think those paying towards the creation of chapters might deserve to expect more than those reading for free.

I kept my Patreon going but stopped even checking around chapter 153 or so. Is there somewhere to go to download each chapter without having to look through previous posts?
