woodz’s i hate you belongs to my scream out loud on the top of your lungs playlist, i love that song to death and it’s even better to scream it hahahaha. yeah BIG naughty, the 19yo that captured my heart by one single live performance… I do believe the video has 6M views mainly because of the popularity of 10CM and the fact that it has no actual MV (at least not one I could find). Also, 10CM used to be a duo but it’s just the one guy now :) And yep, I was about to comment something like “ah yeah this is indeed my type of music, it’s why i love loco so much, blabla” but then you said that exactly… glad it fits into that playlist though heheh

It's been 13 years and Kyuhyun's is still my favorite voice in Kpop. Probably isn't changing lol. He does have the perfect voice for a song like this and I also loved the MV for Dreaming.

so glad you checked out more yezi and kang daniel, two of my absolute favourites!! thanks to the people who requested :)) parade is actually a b-side off his full album “the story” that came out last year, and was personally my AOTY. yezi is a gem who deserves so much more limelight on her and her incredible talent, she’s one of the best rappers that’s ever been an idol. as you heard from “home” last time, she’s also a lovely vocalist despite having been a sub-vocalist from her group where she rarely sang at all, haha. also i’ll back that “colourful trauma” is worth your time, there’s a song there (dirt on my leather) that just blew me away on first listen and continues to blow me away, even now. -sash

Yezi!! Oh how I love her.

Yesung has always been more of an indie rock singer. Sensory flows is his first full album, but he has had several mini-albums already. Some of them more kpop than this. The mini-album before this one was a city pop album. Kyuhyun loves ballads. He says that is what he listens to and what he loves to sing most. He describes himself as a balladeer who found himself in a dance group. He is also a highly respected musical theater actor. One of his performances is showing in movie theaters around the world. If "Phantom" is showing in a city near you, I highly recommend it. It's a telling of the Phantom of the Opera, but it is not the Andrew Lloyd Weber version. I found myself preferring this Korean version over the Weber one both in characterization and music.

I am familiar with the early 2000s rock scene. Mid-nineties, too. My angsty teenage self would have sneered at K-Pop. Fortunately, middle-aged me has no patience for that sort of nonsense. So happy to see you reacted to "I Hate You." I should probably edit my February request, but I'm too lazy.
