Thanks for all the great content today! Your confusion about why you like Shoot kind of encapsulates how I feel about ITZY in general 😅 Usually that aggressive, experimental style is absolutely not my thing, but with ITZY I always find myself really enjoying it. It might be because of the way their lighter, bright voices juxtapose those harder sounds, but I can't totally explain it. Regardless, I really enjoy this album! My ranking would be 1. Tennis 2. Sorry Not Sorry 3. Wild Wild West 4. Shoot 5. Kidding Me 6. Mafia in the Morning. I felt the exact same way you did about the cringy "eenie meenie" part of Wild Wild West at first, but I ended up desensitising myself to it after enough listens haha

I personally feel that Kidding Me should have been the title track. Wasn't much of a fan of Wild Wild West or Tennis. Shoot and Kidding Me were my favorites off the album. Some of my friends who really disliked Mafia in the Morning enjoyed those two much more. I think Shoot stuck with them for the reasons you listed why you dislike modern rap songs lol (e.g. autotune and that bass-heavy beat).

Interesting that the title track is your least favorite, though I suppose if you normally don't like the hard hitting stuff it makes sense. Where do you does PTT sit on that hard hitting scale for you?

I think the drop in PTT is a lot stronger than the one in Mafia In The Morning, but both songs would probably be at a similar level for me if it wasn't for that PTT bridge. The way it completely slows the tempo down, only for the song to explode in the last chorus makes me really feel and get into the energy of the song in a way that most of the other hard-hitting EDM kpop songs don't do for me. It's the exact same situation for So What actually. So I think if ITZY have something in their music that makes me like that type of sound, LOONA have something that make me love it

i liked kidding me, shoot, sorry not sorry, and tennis. I didn't care for wild wild west. And i agree about mafia in the morning being like a performance track
