Appreciate the album reaction. I also agree that there is a time and place to listen to this album in its entirety seeing as though it is comprised of four ballads. As for Destiny Part 2, I am not sure where the piano melody comes from, but the lyrics from this song and Destiny (reality in black) are nearly identical with slight various. The main difference between the two is the piano melody that creates more of a somber atmosphere compared to the original which sounds country-like with its use of guitar. Also, whenever they comeback as a group again, I would like to believe that it would hit that much harder in contrast to an emotional ballad. Once again, great reaction :)

I get what you mean about this being a strange album to listen to during summer. I really enjoyed it on my first listen, but the songs didn't truly resonate with me until I listened to them later at night in a more relaxed mood. When I did that, I found that the songs felt incredibly warm and comforting (despite their questionably sad lyrics 😅). And emotional albums like this are often the ones that become closest to my heart, so I'm really happy with the album. Where Are We Now and A Memory For Life are my joint favourites at the moment.

This is basically how I felt. I don't think I was in the right headspace for it. To me, it's meant for late at night or during Fall/Winter rather than midday in June 😁

I think it’s because it’s more about their anniversary instead of a summer release. June is a sentimental month when it comes to Moomoos, but I totally get what you’re saying; it’s a contrast to what’s normally expected 😊

This is a definitely a weird album. It is by no means my favorite by them or one that I would normally play all at once, and yet it has this inherent sentimental value to it. Even though I haven’t been in the fandom for that long, I can feel how much this album means to them and to moomoos, especially with WAWN and destiny part 2. I do remember that hwasa in particular talked about how much the og destiny meant to her (see it without sound to avoid song spoilers https://twitter.com/hwasa_nation/status/1399300727571320838?s=21) and they’ve all said that they truly believe they were meant to be friends, even if Mamamoo had never been formed. I also think that their latest releases were a bit more upbeat and focused on the performance, so this feels almost like a gift to remind us that they are in fact all accomplished vocalists. Thankfully, rainy season has started where I live, and this album has been a mood setter. After all, there’s nothing like late rainy nights with good vocally charged ballads 🛌

I wish I loved somewhere where it rained all the time 🥺. It's 91° in New York and terrible today

While I don't think I'll put this album on loop anytime soon, I really appreciate its existence (and after Blue;s, now this is my second favourite EP from them), and to be honest, not many groups can do this, to release a full ballad EP especially in the summer. They won't break any records with this album/MV, but at this point, I bet it wasn't their intention anyway. I think you interpreted it well, the first and the last song is more about them, and the second and the third are the standard "normal" break-up/farewell songs. PS: Do you plan to continue Queendom in the future one day?

Not exactly an official Wheein x Hwasa sub unit, but they were tapped by legendary singer/song writer Kim Hyeon Chul to sing a song called "Loving one person" or aka "Two Girls Love a Man": https://youtu.be/WCVNEOZ_Zxg
