Hello!

The Patroncast is here, available in its usual technicolor dreamcoat of ways-to-listen, including, of course, the Patreon player itself.

Naturally, you can also watch the unlisted YouTube video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srsatL1rUSk

Or you can just download it from Google Drive if you prefer - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Gw2WW2TcDbb5HIEzqAxTL3zpFubRTC8v

And don't forget the entire playlist of Patroncasts too - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xy8-DABMEx4&list=PLwH1xJhcXG0f38Jjmzko1yKXoTR_c2MFJ

Hopefully that's something for everyone!

Jon

I really enjoyed the Fallout boardgame videos and watched them all. Sometimes if your videos go over an hour I have to think about if I want to watch them but I jumped straight into those ones without a second thought. I'd love to see more game videos. And I'll be buying that boardgame myself :)

If you do card games, you should look into possibly using a poker-cam setup (potentially easier to do in post?) where the viewer can see both your hands on screen at all time. May not work as well when the banter is the focus and there's no color commentary, but I think it was one of the big advances in making card games a viable spectator sport.

If you do factorio, you may want to considered making it a community livestream. It's got a multiplayer that is optimised for a couple hundred players.

I actually have the new Civ board game. Played it with a few mates last weekend and had a great time. I'd love to see you have a go if you feel like mucking around with all the filming and editing again. Also Jon, no. No the twin mics didn't work well :P

ElectricGears

Good, you correctly identified Flask Sentry (aka generic Brad, pulled of of their ass boyfriend for Twilight Sparkle for the high-school drama bullshit Equestria Girls movie) as trash. Now Lord Tirek is an interesting choice, although I'd peg you for Sunburst, if only for the massive knowledge of history. And It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia comes highly recommended from me. It's a pretty dark comedy, so not for everyone, but the kind of really unique, fantastic show that would have been destroyed by network hacks and focus groups that snuck under the radar. Unfortunately is moving to Hulu Dec. 8th, (who else wants to pay for a streaming service AND watch ads?)

I bought some nice coasters from an artist called Lyndsey Green last year. She's UK based and might be willing to share her supplier with you (I assume she sends them designs and they print for her). Here's her website: <a href="http://www.lyndseygreen.co.uk/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.lyndseygreen.co.uk/</a> She's on twitter @Lyndseythefox

R.E. Factorio, I find the videos are generally more enjoyable when it's a game that your enjoying playing. I've enjoyed the board games. If you can get a bigger collaboration going on Regenwormen (<a href="https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/15818/pickomino)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/15818/pickomino)</a> or Bohnanza (<a href="https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/11/bohnanza)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/11/bohnanza)</a> might be fun, hopefully with less visual streams for you to juggle with. But... you love tanks. What about poor T34? Thanks for answering my question about Fallout: The Boardgame, we've played Carcassone a few times so we could probably handle it. Good bit of Poe that, second only to Homer Simpson's reading.

Hi Jon, FYI, that tax exemption applies to any annual party, not just Christmas Parties. So if you wanted to have a Summer BBQ type thing you could also benefit from the same tax exemptions!

One thing that makes me laugh about Toy Story, especially 3, is the dark undertones. For example, there's a funny scene at the end where Lotso gets found by a Lorry Driver, he then promptly gets attached to the grill of the lorry and them drive off. This is all meant to be funny and is presented in a comedic manner. That is until you realise that Lotso is now going to be strapped to the front of that lorry, swallowing all manner of insects, for the rest of his life, if not eternity. If it was a human in place you could literally put that sort of situation in a Saw film and it would not be out of place.

I'd like to be first to put my name down as a colour commentator on Jon's card games
