HOW TO USE THE NEW ANIMATION SYSTEM WITH C&G ANIMATIONS

1) You must have the Creator edition of Virt-a-Mate to use the new vamX Animation System (it relies on Creator features). On the Virt-a-Mate Main Menu you should see "Creator" next to the key icon. If you need to upgrade to Creator, subscribe to patreon.com/MeshedVR.

2) Open the vamX Scene. Go to Pose -> Standing -> SEAMLESS ANIM & POSE LIBRARY.

3) Wait for 30 seconds while the animation library loads to ram. The Virt-a-Mate UI will be shown with the vamX Plugin Animation Menu.

4) In the new vamX Plugin Animation Menu press a section on the left, for example "Poses, Chilling / Hanging Out" then choose an item from the right. An item marked (*3) means there are 3 variations of that animation that randomly play. See the vamX plugin menu in the vamX 1.34 video.

5) When pressing an animation (to change to), the current animation may need to finish first, which can take a minute! If you don't need a seamless transition, and want to immediately change, just press the same desired new animation again, and it will immediately jump to that animation. If things get really stuck, press Reset Pose, then choose a new animation.

6) This is in Alpha (early release, with some bugs). Scroll down to the bottom of this page to learn more about the animation system and the current bugs / issues. Most things should work fine except she sometimes may stop animating or get stuck and need a reset. There are also issues with some poses that require a male.

The AI Chat feature costs us thousands of dollars per month in hosting and service fees. If if you want to use AI Chat (which is not required) you need to subscribe to the VIP + AI + ChatGPT Tier.

If this is your first time using vamX, start with the vamX Tutorials scene as described in the download steps below.

Download and Run vamX

1) Download vamX_1.34 (Alpha) for Virt-a-Mate 1.22 Creator (or from Mega).

2) IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT, YOU MUST ALSO DOWNLOAD vamX.Base.1.var (or from Mega)!

If you already downloaded vamX.Base.1.var for vamX.1.33, you don't need to download it again.

If you are subscribed to the VIP + AI + ChatGPT Tier, you MUST get your password here.

3) Optionally (not required) download the AddonPackages. These haven't changed since vamX.1.29.0.0.

4) Put var packages (from steps 1-3) in your Virt-a-Mate/AddonPackages folder. Don't rename or extract .var package files. If you have previous versions of vamX, you can delete them. Previous versions are only useful if you created and saved scenes with those versions of vamX. If you don't have Virt-a-Mate or a Virt-a-Mate key, learn more here.

5) Open Virt-a-Mate, click the Scene Browser, then find and open the vamX scene (thumbnail of a woman wearing a bra and panties, lying on a bed). If it's your first time using Virt-a-Mate, start with the vamX Tutorials scene instead. If you see a white box instead of the vamX menu, you don't have the vamX.Base.1.var package in the root of your AddonPackages folder. To verify the vamX package version before opening the vamX scene, click the gear icon in the bottom right corner of the vamX scene icon.

6) If it's your first time using vamX, press Help -> vamX MAIN TUTORIAL from the vamX UI -> Scene tab.

8) Should I download anything else? If you've downloaded the latest version of vamX, you have all vamX features. The only additional thing you can download are the separate vamX Environments. Environments can only be opened as separate Virt-a-Mate scenes and cannot be switched to in the main vamX scene tab.

9) First get comfortable using the vamX scene, then advanced users can Add vamX to other scenes.

VAMX VOICE CONTROL 1) Set your Windows default microphone before opening Virt-a-Mate 2) Have the Virt-a-Mate window active (the last selected window selected by clicking anywhere in the Virt-a-Mate program or clicking the Virt-a-Mate icon, not by using Alt-tab). You can download VaM Stay In Front .zip (Optional - Helps if you accidentally click other windows while using Virt-a-Mate - VaM Stay In Front keeps the Virt-a-Mate window active, which keeps voice commands active). Addon Packages (optional) Full Addon Packages folder (2.9 GB) (You must still download vamX 1.33 in addition). Some vamX items and pages are marked in-game as AddOn, to use those items you need the Addon Packages. The Addon Packages haven't changed for vamX 1.34.

Voice Effects Pack (optional) In Sound you can add Vocal Effects. All Vocal Effects are modifications of the original female Belle voice. You can choose from a variety of normal sounding or strange (e.g. angel, robot, monster) voices. Download the vamX Voice Effects Pack.

For those already familiar with vamX functionality you can load vamX into any scene using the Merge Load scenes. Watch the Merge Load Tutorial Video on Mega or X VIDEOS (set the quality in x videos to 1080p). You can also use the Add vamX plugin which adds an "Add vamX" button to the main Virt-a-Mate menu.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES AND IMPROVEMENTS

Updated Plugins Disabled error message to show that Virt-a-Mate 1.22 (not 1.20) is required for vamX.

Updated Timeline to save animations in the new compressed format by default.

TittyMagic is now added automatically by default. TittyMagic is only added to standard vamX scenes, not custom scenes where you press "Add vamX" (or if you save your own vamX scene with TittyMagic disabled).

Added Close Help button to the vamX Chat AI scene, to make it easy to close the giant help page if desired. Pressing Close Help fully hides the help. To show it again reload the vamX Chat AI scene.

There are too many animations to make it sensible to have them as vamX picture buttons, so the animation control panel is shown using smaller text buttons like normal Virt-a-Mate plugins. Pictures don't easily convey various animations, plus it's useful to have the animations sorted into categories and quickly clickable. So this animation UI will probably stay using the current text button interface.

If you choose a new animation you may need to wait for the current animation to finish to ensure a seamless transition. If you don't want to wait, press again on the same animation to jump immediately to it. If she is in the middle of a long dance that takes her all over the space, or she is straddling you lying down, etc., you either need to wait for her to finish, or get a non-seamless transition by pressing the same new desired animation button again. You can also press Reset Pose at any time. Animations that roughly take place in the default standing location should transition immediately into each other.

To get from one pose to another, the vamX animation system transitions through the closest matching transition animations. For example if she is standing, and you click the button for kneeling doggy pose, she will first play the animation of going to sitting, then the animation of turning around to kneeling doggy, to create a smooth transition. Not all animations have straight transitions between them, so you may notice her standing up before switching to another pose (as standing is the default).

Occasionally simple idle/pose animations that should loop, stop. Press that same animation again or choose another looping animation.

Some of the hand job poses don't load the correct male pose. The default male pose works with hand jobs. But if you choose some other animations, another male pose is loaded to match that animation (for example the Face Sitting or Lying Next To animations). To restore the default Male Pose open the "Poses, Chilling / Hanging Out" section and press the Touch (*6 LONG) item.

Kneeling Blow Job needs to increase penis size for the default male in order to align properly.

vamX Atom grab controls show in the scene when viewing / changing animations.

Would be good to add a button to re-attach sim clothes in the Undress section. Currently you can re-attach sim clothes by starting the undress animation, then quickly switching to another animation like standing idle.

Although most animations will just work, more testing and fixing needs to be done to ensure loops and transitions work correctly, and that you never end up with animations ending and her freezing in place, etc.

If things get stuck/strange, press Reset Pose.

For the future, we will check on integrating a solution for shadows in Passthrough / AR.
