AI Chat Server Issues - FIXED & IMPROVED - 12/5/23 (Patreon)

CHAT SERVERS FIXED

The AI Chat servers should now all be working correctly, including with ChatGPT, Verbatik, and KoboldAI.

You should no longer need to use llm-servers.com, and that server will soon no longer be guaranteed to work, so you should set the VaM\Saves\PluginData\vamX\vamX_ai_chat_host.txt file back to just saying "Default" if you changed it.

The issues we were having showed up as the Chat AI not responding at all, or the Chat AI responding, but no Verbatik voices being generated. These should now, hopefully, be fixed.


NEW IMPROVEMENTS

We have an additional new voice server, so use with the standard (non-Verbatik) voices should be much quicker.

The language model (Ooba), her spoken voice, and your selected language are now all remembered, so you don't need to enter them every time. These selections are remembered per server, so if you change between US and EU servers, you need to set them for each server.


CHAT SERVER ISSUE DETAILS

Verbatik voices are always slower, also KoboldAI and Ooba 70B can be slow, but the previous issue resulted in no chat response from any Ooba / ChatGPT / KoboldAI setting, or no Verbatik voice even after several seconds of waiting.

Let us know if the server seems to have crashed again (if you get no Chat AI or Verbatik responses). Meanwhile, I hope things will now be much more stable (occasionally outages of a few minutes are expected here and there, but nothing major).

To allow the servers to be available to everyone, please don't share your password, or spam the service.

Go to Sound -> Female Voices -> Belle English Default Voice (or any other voice).

When i need to speak in AI chat i have to push the controller trigger. but it pops up the vamx menu .Is something i can do to avoid that ? Also how i deactivate vamx voice and have only ai chat voice?

Phenomenal work on this! Sorry if this has already been asked or is covered somewhere in the documentation, but is there a way to connect directly into GPT4? I see there is a .txt for the API key but I don't see a way to switch to it in game.

Yeah, we just never finished implementing that feature. GPT4 is SFW only, but we should really let people put in their own API key and access it. Please confirm that you are interested in SFW GPT4 and we'll resume work on that.

Just press the "Hide" button on the vamX UI, then pressing the trigger doesn't open/close the vamX menu. To get the vamX menu back, find the "Show" button (the button which was Hide, but it can be hard to find) or just press the Open vamX UI button from the main Virt-a-Mate UI. To deactivate the vamX voice and just have the AI Chat voice press Breathing Sounds Only from the Chat AI section of vamX (next to where you choose USA or Europe). I realize this button should be labeled better, these two buttons (Breathing Sounds Only and Sex, Moans & Breathing) refer to what parts of the vamX voice play. You'll probably want to press Breathing Sounds Only to get the vamX breathing sounds, but only AI Chat generated dialog. To remove the breathing sounds also, go to Sound -> Speech / Moan Pitch & Options -> and choose No Talk or Female Breath Sounds Toggle On/Off.
