Barely Working Status Update (and Queen's Brothel) (Patreon)

Hello hello everyone.

If you are unaware, we had to change the artist for Barely Working. Because of this, we lost a lot of time this year. The new artist, BiteBox has been working tirelessly and doing a great job at creating pictures, but it takes time. Please take a look at some of the examples above, the pictures are turning out great.

We have finished the lines for 21 of the 49 pictures needed. Thank you for your patience this year, we are definitely trying our hardest with this game. Since a lot of the work is with art, it leaves me with time to try new things.

Queen's Brothel

The next update for Queen's Brothel will have a side quest that I have personally been writing. A quest called "My Crazy Girlfriend". I decided I wanted to try making a first person PoV quest where you play as the main character.

You just moved to Easthollow and are attending your first day of class at Easthollow University. Your parents told you to get good grades, stay out of trouble and don't party! Unfortunately for you, a pink haired girl named Suki just sat in front of you. And she's going to be your "friend".

This quest will give you a bunch of dialogue options. It's up to you to decide what route you want to take. Do you want to go full horny and fuck Suki senseless? Do you want to be a good boy who is being corrupted by Suki? Do you want to mix it up? The dialogue and pictures change depending on what you do.

This quest will be a test. I will be releasing this side quest as a standalone game as well. I want people to play it, read it and learn about our favorite girl, Suki. I have never been a fan of writing visual novels, but it felt really fun to try to make one. I hope you enjoy spending the day with Suki. This quest will be available in version 1.7.0.
