Barely Working Status Update (Patreon)

Hi everyone! Barely Working has not had an update in a long time due to personal reasons. Today, I bring you an update for what you should expect in the upcoming updates.

Artist Swap

BiteBox, an incredibly talented artist, will be taking over Barely Working as the main artist. One major change you will notice is that BiteBox draws a little more cartoon-y, but makes sure the character is accurately represented. The current images in-game will not be replaced, only future levels will have new art.

Due to the artist swap, the warehouse level has been stuck in limbo. Instead, I'm having BiteBox start fresh on a new level instead of taking over the Warehouse level first.

The Meeting Level

Candace is hosting a very important sales meeting with very powerful C-Suite executives! She has planned to do a presentation in front of everyone, but will soon be bombarded with lots of horny messages from the people in the room! Candace has to get through her presentation, but the guys in the room are just way too horny to pay attention. Candace will once again have to manage both her presentation and the boners in the room.

The meeting level will be the next level in the game, not the warehouse level that I mentioned in my previous status update. The warehouse level is still planned to be the 2nd level in the game, but since we have derailed from our current plans, the meeting level will be given to you guys before the warehouse level. It will cause some confusion at first, but will be mitigated over time.

In the meeting level, we will be experimenting with more special events during the gameplay. For example, a gang bang event. Candace is in a room full of horny men, at some point all of them will be so incredibly horny that Candace will be forced to have sex with multiple at once. These types of special events will automatically happen and will, in general, be a losing situation for the player. Enjoy the scene, but know, Candace can't work if she's being fucked!

The Warehouse Level

This level will be coming after the meeting level, but in-game timeline wise, is still planned to be the second level. There is a chance BiteBox will have to take over this level as well.
