Hello hello everyone! Barely Working 4.0.0 is out. All of the images in the game have been colored. We also have a new outfit for $4+ Patrons only.

The new outfit changes the level's dialogue. I thought this was a cool idea and would like to do it again for future outfits. It adds replay value.

The changed dialogues was ingenious. I love this game for it's simplicity, and now I can't wait for the warehouse level. Keep up the good work

Colored pictures, new outfit, new alternate dialogue, all top notch. The dialogue changing depending on the outfit is especially great idea. Great work, can't wait for what you come up next!

I’ve been so excited for this! Modular/changing dialogue is such a good way to keep the game fresh each time you play it. Great idea.

A question I had about the development process and godot: I know outfit mods for QB are possible, is something like that possible for BW with dialogue mods? I'm not a developer so I don't have any context or know if that's even theoretically possible with how development/the engine works.

That's a good question. I think it's a good idea, but I'm not 100% on implementing it. I need a solid amount of time and I'm being streched a bit with both games. But i do think the idea is very good and would be fun to let people create their own levels. That sounds so fun

That level of customization would be really good, but yeah it sounds like a lot of work and I can't imagine supporting 2 games concurrently is easy. You'd basically be making Mario Maker except Barely Working Maker.

Sometimes a game is good because of nuance. Sometimes it's good because it is simple. This is simplicity itself and AMAZING for it! Keep up the good work!

Barely Working made me join your Patreon! I really love the game mechanics of how the Sex isn't the main goal of the game (arguably), but finishing the report is. However, being "good" at sex (knowing when to switch to Fucking, and which clothes to take of for which dude), is still rewarding - in terms of game mechanics - and can be more rewarding than just avoiding it, because every Fuck gives an additional 1% Progress. I love the free use kink, I love the artwork, I love the sound fx, I love the game mechanics. I am already excited for the next release and can't wait to see where you are taking this game!

Things I'd like to see: - Some sort of "analytics"; how much time spent with colleagues, average productivity while fucking, how much Progress gained from fucking - Outfits changing more than dialogue: the skimpy one might be faster to take off/put on, but attract additional colleagues. - hotkeys for dressing/undressing. Also I think sometimes Spacebar doesn't toggle fucking/working - Naming the buttons "top"/"bottom" instead of "shirt"/"skirt" - Some sort of hint that highlights Progress gain after making a colleague cum. - The colleague's name inside the text bubble, like "John: Thank you for taking your skirt off". Helps with the I M M E R S I O N...
