Future Version Explanation (Patreon)

Queen's Brothel will start using a different versioning scheme going forward.

Significant game update.

The first number is for major changes. Maybe we add a new brothel mechanic? It's hard to imagine what could be significant enough to change an entire version number, but when it happens, you will know why.

Content update.

When there is enough new content to drop, the second number in the version will change. This is when a normal person would want to re-download the game and try it out. New quests, maybe a new boss or something. Or perhaps even a significant quality of life update. This is when you will see a new release post on Patreon / itch / Steam.

Fixes and testing.

The third number will now be used for bug fixes and testing of new features. Going from 0.14.0 to 0.14.1 will not be significant at all anymore.

I will also be testing new features using these small updates just to see if anyone likes my changes. If not, then I can easily remove them without having to bother the community with a Content update mentioned above.
