Susan Update (+ Sort of Monthly Update) (Patreon)

In the latest Susan entry, I mentioned that I finished up a few scenes beyond what I uploaded. That number has grown to 7, I ended up prioritizing that over finishing #105 mainly because it feels nice to be ahead. Despite the entries themselves not being done, I decided to put them all here instead!

Additionally I've also been doing some intense housekeeping. This was because recently, I noticed how slow the program was when I load up one of Susan's pregnancy files VS pre-preg. I had to figure out exactly why, hence the housekeeping.

The difference is kinda hard to see given the .gif format, but just look at how much the cursor drifts away from the selected object. With the first, it takes a good few frames for it to respond. But the 2nd is pretty much instantly. The second is the result of the housekeeping with nearly the same shape. This alongside many other changes, helped to half the file size, loading it faster, making it more responsive AND making it easier to pose as a result.

The fact that I'm spending all this time improving Susan is probably also a clear giveaway that I have more plans for her after her pregnancy. If you recall the February Update, the 'end of Susan's Story' has basically become 'end of Susan's pregnancy'. Put differently, I will finish Susan's pregnancy, then work on some older characters to give them a better send off, and then look into continuing her alongside other new projects. Seems like I can't get myself to let go of her just yet...

And lastly, in that February Update I mentioned it being a more quieter month. Well a lot of that is happening next week, why is why I'm getting this out now rather than later!
