What a great choice. One of my favorite movies. Ridley Scott rarely misses. I used to show off my surround sound system to people with the Battle of Carthage scene. Action packed, emotional, but the best part is the acting, Joaquin just blows my mind in this movie.

Just FYI, nobody outside US/UK can watch along to this reaction, unless they just so happen to have an old DVD copy of the movie sitting around. Amazon does not let you rent movies if you're not in those two countries, and every other copy available online is the extended director's cut which adds 20 minutes of content and gets out of sync very quickly.

WAY WAY late to the party here but: Russel Crow is quite good, and yes movies he does are almost always amazing with few exceptions. He is a great actor. And Jaquin is pronounced: (WA-Keen)
