Funny coincidence: I ordered a DVD copy of this movie (yes, I'm an old geezer) on the 24th... now I just have to wait patiently for its arrival. Maybe I should have opted for the expedited delivery service after all :)

One of my favorites! I remember the first time I watched it as a teenager and wondered why a relatively large amount of time/dialogue was focused on the new Burger Barn. Now that I'm older, I realize that this is to show how Endora is such a small/sleepy town, that a new fast food place (and the new jobs) is all the craze among town folk. If you like these more 'slice of life' movies, as I like to call them, I would highly recommend a drama/comedy called Nebraska, starring Will Forte and Bruce Dern. It's a bit of a slow burn, but the story is great and the acting is really good in an understated way. It was nominated for a lot of awards, but sadly didn't win any.
